It still baffles me that we gave Gallup that big contract after that injury. Gallup is a number 3 wr at best. We should of gave him a 1 yr deal or allowed another team to over pay for him. Dude was on a milk carton most of the year.
Hes had 2 games where i thought he really fought for the ball. They over rate their own players way too much and are usually too late in adressing the issue.

Dak was in panic mode and went with his first read most of the game. The pick he threw in the red zone should never have gone to Lamb. Lamb was bracketed and the 49ers knew what was coming.
This exactly.
Don't matter how much talent you add to the receiver group if the Qb can not go through his reads faster and pick the right target, also throw with accuracy.
Add to that the fact that our offense is based on timing and slow developing routes, a passrush like San Francisco's is going to mess everything up.
We need to completely re shuffle the offensive side of the ball or we won't get pass them on this lifetime. If they won't change Qb at least change OC.

Agendas....non football stuff...been going on for years. I mean...we banked our whole season on someone with a torn ACL. Anything could have happened during his rehab....that move right there was proof to all you people that do not think Jerry is calling the shots.

You can’t blame the wideouts when the QB can’t throw it to them nor can he go through his progressions properly enough to distribute the ball to the open WR. Dak has his favorites and will force it to them instead of taking the open player.

They really need to bring in another legit WR. I think Dak’s deficiencies are amplified by:

#1) A lack of offensive playmakers outside Lamb and Pollard.

#2) Pressure. He really struggled this year when the pass rush hurried him a little bit.

If Dallas keeps rolling with him, they need to build the offense to build on his strengths and minimize the exposure of his weaknesses which were on display tonight.
Lets just call it what it is...or at least appears to be. Prescott needs a three-headed monster at WR and even THEN you can't totally trust him in the playoffs...as we all witnessed a year ago.

The trade of Amari Cooper came back to bite them in the rear, like I figured it might before the end. That one is on the Jones clan...who have been clamoring since the trade deadline to right their bad decision involving the WR room.

WRs were not the problem on Dak's picks. Those picks were the difference in the game.
It’s come down to this. We expect guys to catch curl passes and turn them Into touchdowns. “Our weapons aren’t good enough” they say now .

The part that pissed me off the most was Gallup completely just standing still on the route that was intercepted. It was a poor choice by Dak, but Gallup has to come back for the ball and at least break it up.
The defender knew the play better than our own WR. I agree that Dak shouldn't have thrown it, but where there any other options? When do you trust you WR to make the play?
