Gallup catching problems?

Just odd considering Linehan was the one that wanted Prescott.

According to Jones, Linehan was "on the table" for the Cowboys to draft Prescott. Linehan had him rated with the top quarterbacks in the draft, Wentz and Goff, and he pushed for the team to rate him higher than it did.

Linehan studied the Mississippi State offense as well as the quarterback. His impression was that Prescott was making more whole-field reads than most spread quarterbacks. But he knew three elements would be transitional for him: Playing under center, running a huddle and learning/making more expansive play calls.

Wanted him but can't call the plays to get him in rhythm.

Under Linehan and the Garrett/Linehan scheme Dak had one of the best rookie seasons in NFL history. There are valid criticisms of the coaches/system but they are wildly over-inflated.

And as for wanting to draft Dak...that was for him to be a backup.

Dak has the yips.

Ridley set the league on fire one week. He may well be the real deal, but one week does not prove that. In any case, I'm happy with the LVE pick. We can't draft everyone we would like.
I'm sorry, but that's garbage. Ridley has 4 touchdown catches in 3 games, which is more than you can say about Antonio Brown, Julio Jones, Mike Evans, and every Dallas Cowboys WR combined.

Until LVE can make that kind of impact immediately, I'm still contending we should've drafted a WR first.

Ridley is playing in a real offense, with a real QB, across from a real WR.

I do think he'll be a good one, but it's hard to imagine he'd have 4 TD's right now in a Cowboys uniform.

lol - you obviously aren't bothering with the facts. The facts are that 3 of his 4 TDs were in one game, and 146 of his 210 yards were in that same game, so it's actually true that he has only had one game out of 3 where he has torn up the league. What Antonio Brown or Julio Jones has or hasn't done has nothing to do with the fact that Ridley's numbers are overwhelmingly due to one game and not due to consistently tearing up the league in all 3 games.

Problems? Y’all don’t want to make another hype thread for him? Jerry has nothing to say about him anymore? :muttley:
