Gallup catching problems?

I'm not one to worry about things that really aren't issues. You know that.

I'm more concerned about protection and QB play overall.

As long as Garrett's ace in the hole hire (Kellen Moore) is working with Dak, QB play should be the least of your worries

Probably nervous as hell, cause half the fan base thinks he was supposed to replace Dez. Why don’t ppl let young players develop?

is anyone else surprised by Gallup’s drops this year. Didn’t catch the drag route vs Carolina, had a TWill type drop yesterday resulting in a pick and vs NYG I’ve heard 50-50 between his route or Daks throw on the deep ball that was incomplete.

He’s a rookie, but hopefully his hands get a little better. Need any spark we can get
Don't worry, Garrett will coach him up.

Your name is great for responding to this. I wasn't a Ridley fan by go see what he did with Atlanta yesterday......... Hint he had more TDs yesterday then our entire receiving corps has all season.

What part of "after day 1" did you not understand? I was clearly excluding 1st round picks.

If you want a superstar, don't expect to find it in the third round. But if it does happen that's icing on the cake.

You are correct

I was yelling and screaming at the tv when Dallas did not pick Ridley. I watch every Bama game and that guy made plays all over the field in spite of the fact he played in an offense lead by Jalen Hurts who can't throw the ball. The guy played against the best CBs in the SEC and was always open.

I wasn't that high on Ridley. I wouldn't have been upset if we drafted him and I could see the reason if we did. I will say he looked very good yesterday, took him a couple of games but wow what explosion.

I liked Sutton, Kirk, Gallup, Moore, Miller, Ridley...... Not in any order although Sutton was my number 1 guy. I liked some of the later round guys as well

It took him a few games b/c Ryan wasn't looking his direction until Sunday.

Not remotely worried about the play calling or the QB coach.

What’s your take on where the major problem lies so far sitting at 1-2?

It looks like a combination of protection and QB play (specifically in the CAR game) to me.

Both of which are bigger problems than play calling, for the record.

I wanted Ridley REALLY bad, but then I sat down and thought who we have designing the offense and who we have throwing the ball and decided that it would be a waste of a pick because we can't even get him the ball.

I'm a bit surprised after all the good press he got, although he's a rookie and may need to get more comfortable within the system before coming into his own. I'm leaning toward being patient with him until he's had more time to prove himself. At least, his history appears to indicate he should. It's early yet.

I think better play calling can help out both positions. IMO.
