Feel for him. Good player for the Cowboys. Never really had a chance to sign with the Cooper signing. That said, this has another very unfortunate side effect. Not only will we likely lose him next year, but the high comp pick is out the window now as well.

Acl takes 9-12 months to come back from. Can safely say he won’t be getting any record breaking contracts. Sucks for him. His best option now might be to sign a 2-3 year contract with some guaranteed money.

No one will spend top dollar on him, and Dallas may very well be able to retain him now.

Most likely, he will be back here on a 1 year contract. It’s unlikely he gets signed at all during free agency with an injury this late in the season. After that, it’s out of sight, out of mind.

Likely kills his opportunity to score an Alvin Harper deal. He won't sign anywhere long term at a reduced price. Looks like he and Wilson likely stick around on one year deals. Tough break. I don't think he'll ever be a 1 but someone looking to hit the cap minimum would certainly give him that pre injury
