Yeah nothing says solid roster building like using three of your last four 1st round picks on WRs.
This would be idiotic.
I fail to see the issue with this.

Gallup is a 1,000 yd WR w/ great leaping ability. What don't you love about it?I need to see the breakdown of the deal but I don't love it. I don't think Gallup is that good...hopefully it is a 3 year deal with about 6 mill avg...

I think the issue here is that the Cowboys want to improve this team with the draft. By bringing back Schultz and Gallup that’s two positions they can draft later in the draft or not at all.
Yeah let’s be like the Lions and keep spending 1st round picks on WRsNow let’s draft Chris Olave and be set at WR.
With 27 million guaranteed, you're not getting him at 6 per year. It's still a good deal. He can do very well with targets.

So, you don't understand that a downfield WR automatically has a lower comp %? I mean, seriously? C'mooooooon.1 1k season, his completion percentage is about 50%....
I have to see the structure of the deal but he is overated.
A lot of fans overlook this. Dak and Cooper were not on the same page last year. Coop's road games are atrocious and stretches where he just disappeared. But it is a risk for the Cowboys to sign a WR with durability concerns to a deal with that kind of guaranteed money.
Which means it is basically a two-year deal if he doesn't live up to it.
Not bad at all. As long as he’s actually able to play, and play well, in 2022
