I dont think that is a fair comment, Gallup was never dogging it on the field or did anything to show he didnt care about trying to win.

Gallup's problem is that he is a gimp now, cant run, cant get separation, cant win 50/50 balls, knee is shot, ankle is shot, ect...

Being a gimp doesnt mean you dont care or dont have heart.

Actually, it was just a scope. It's probably a piece that was giving him problems are causing him pain, so they go in there and clean it up so it rotates more smoothly. High success rate, and may improve performance.

My buddy was a MLB pitcher, struggled his first few years in the big leagues, and ended up having a nice career after his.

They clearly went away from going deep with gallup as often as in previous years. My problem with him is he didn't fight for the ball when contested. More often than not he was content to allow the defender to go after the ball and I absolutely hate that kind of attitude.
