Gambling suspensions coming this week

I want to see any mention of Hurts gambling the night away before the Super Bowl.

That would have been right up there with Lamar as the biggest offseason stories on the league.

I’m just not buying it. … at all
It’s not meant to be true lol

It’s a Cowboy fan facetiously talking about Hurts gambling and drinking so he is not able to play next year.

Players make great money and could invest in many different things. Just don't bite the hand that feeds you, it's not that difficult.

Fingers crossed it's only Prescott.

The NFL is in bed with gambling and expects what now from their players?
Add to the above a new team in VEGAS lol I mean common now what is a young rich football player gonna do in the desert???
The NFL and unfortunately the fans and certain players will pay for the above debacle they have created.
P.S. I would pay real money having Prescott watching (with that deer in the headlights face of his) the roulette wheel........ :muttley:

Just don't ever get the idea that a referee would also do something like this. Can't happen.
I believe they don't release that info if it does. I could be wrong. I just believe they would keep that quiet.

"Back in April, the NFL suspended Detroit’s Quintez Cephus and C.J. Moore as well as Washington’s Shaka Toney through “at least the conclusion of the 2023 season” for gambling on NFL games from the ’22 campaign.

Meanwhile, Detroit’s Stanley Berryhill and Jameson Williams were suspended for the first six games of the upcoming 2023 season for placing non-NFL bets while at the team facility.

With the legalization of sports gambling continues to expand across the country, the NFL has encountered a major problem with players gambling on all sports. Despite league rules forbidding players from gambling on all sports while at team and league facilities, and a full ban on betting on NFL games, the issue continues to arise."

They must not have used the NFLs approved sports gambling partners.
NFL are such freaking hypocrites. Starts with Goodell. Maybe they should also look into the owners, NFL people and their families. Hard to believe they don't get involved with this. But i really don't care as long as you don't bet on your team to lose.

and yes, Pete Rose belongs in the HOF. LOL......

So i guess the usual no suspensions .. no infractions ...no arrests .... no Cowboys in trouble ....annuals are finally over ...?

They just can’t allow professional athletes to legally gamble on sporting events . It’s a fine line the leagues must balance and closely watch to uphold the integrity of the games .

And if you’re a player you’ll have to wait a few years until your career is over . Is that really asking too much?
