I'm taking my parents out to dinner. I don't know what restaurant they will choose yet.
They will most likely choose their favorite Mexican food restaurant.

They are opening a fat burger near me. Are they any good, or just the usual fast food?

I like it a lot. Everything tastes fresh and to me it comes off as a restaurant burger as opposed to your typical fast food places.

I am about to make myself some Mexican breakfast consisting of chorizo con papas (Mexican chorizo with potatoes) along with some refried beans with shredded melted cheese and a salad.

I spoke with @Ranching yesterday. He will be indisposed this weekend, so he asked me to do today's Game Day Menu thread for him. He also wishes everyone a wonderful and blessed Dallas Cowboys 2023 1st Preseason Game Day weekend!

@Ranching said he would be having himself some Mexican breakfast consisting of machacado con huevos (Mexican machacado with eggs) along with some asavero cheese. Something similar to the pic below...

Nice and congratulations! Counting the days until both of mine are off the payroll. At least my son’s rent isn’t as much as So Cal rents. Out of state tuition hurts me though. Hopefully my daughter doesn’t hurt me as much. She is looking at Santa Barbara and San Diego though. I don’t think she is going to let me off easy.

Since it's only a preseason scrum will not do anything special or time consuming; planning of just making meself a sandwich, ham, salami, pepperoni with pepper jack cheese loaded with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, pickles, jalapenos and avocado on a garlic bread....toasted of course. With some chips and guzzle down with some ice cold brewskies. What kind you ask?.. Modelo Especial baby......
