I won't be able to watch it, got to play a wedding later, I think. Waiting for confirmation before we pack up our gear. Besides, preseason is not that exciting and will catch the game tomorrow on the NFL network.

With that said, please share what you plan on eating today either for breakfast, lunch or for today's 4 pm (CST) game day menu. Salud!

I am about to make myself some Mexican breakfast consisting of chorizo con papas (Mexican chorizo with potatoes) along with some refried beans with shredded melted cheese and a salad.

I spoke with @Ranching yesterday. He will be indisposed this weekend, so he asked me to do today's Game Day Menu thread for him. He also wishes everyone a wonderful and blessed Dallas Cowboys 2023 1st Preseason Game Day weekend!

@Ranching said he would be having himself some Mexican breakfast consisting of machacado con huevos (Mexican machacado with eggs) along with some asavero cheese. Something similar to the pic below...

my guess is maybe the heat? if so they should start at 6 or 7 pm
There is a hockey game on now, so maybe it gives that time to finish up

Wife and I kept it simple for lunch. A little bit of buffalo chicken dip and some charcuterie.

I just fired up the Green Egg and threw about 4 pounds of wings on to munch on during the game. Using mesquite wood and my favorite garlic jalapeno rub. I'm expecting greatness.

Okay, I went in a different direction. Got my hands on some local blue crab from the gulf. I will put some jumbo lump on a homemade Caesar salad…..my healthy choice for the year

No cooking involved, just whip up the dressing

I like it a lot. Everything tastes fresh and to me it comes off as a restaurant burger as opposed to your typical fast food places.

At the start, I will have a small chef salad with "sandwich crackers" - LANCE brand peanut butter - one each of Nekot and Toasty.
In the second half...a salami-roast beef-ham sub with tomato, lettuce, and cheddar cheese slices on whole wheat; chili-spiced chips; beverages are sweet tea (with lemon & lime wedges) and a couple of beers.

Got a notepad out to jot down performances (good & bad) by the players this afternoon.
