I'm going to put some New York strip on the grill, whip up some mac and cheese with bacon and steam some broccoli. Needless to say I'll be throwing back a few glasses of bourbon.

Let's go Cowboys :flagwave: shaping up to be a bad weather game. Zeke the rescue, we're going to need a mudder in this one.
Cowboys 25 Pittsburgh 16
Zeke 23 carries for 98 yds.and a touchdown. :flagwave:

Gonna have a slice of sausage pizza with a couple of fried eggs on top with hot salsa for breakfast. Late lunch of chicken fajita nachos with extra cheese, guacamole, lettuce, onion and tomatoes....don't forget the salsa!
Salud and Go Cowboys!

Damn, enough of the rain in SW Florida already! Another hurricane on the way *sigh*. Makes it harder to grill. But if it ain't Cat 4 or 5, we grill! Today's menu is scallops, grouper and gator bits blackened on the grill. Side dish of a homemade shrimp ceviche. Plenty of beer and hard liquor for the crew. Today, fans of the Cowboys, Bills, Eagles, and Jets will be over to enjoy the game, about 12 of us in all.

Made a Turkey yesterday so having leftovers today and ice cream around game time. I will consider it a win if the game is watchable after halftime. Go All In Boys

I'm just making a big pot of tomato sauce/gravy with sausage, meatballs and a few small pieces of flank steak.
*Edit: I'm also frying up some long hots for the week. They make sandwiches that much better.

I haven't figured out what pasta yet. I like thin linguine but my kids like penne, rigatoni and tortellini.

I'll make a big pot because it's so versatile. With inflation as high as it is this stretches the dollar a lot I can have meatball and sausage sandwiches and chicken parm later in the week.

Plus, it's so easy to make. I don't understand why people buy pre made sauces in a jar when making it yourself is cheaper and tastes way better.

If anyone wants my recipe let me know. Also, I see a lot of great meal ideas here. We really need a recipe thread with all of our game day menus.

Go Cowboys, beat them Steelers!

On the road in West Texas away from home with my 90 year old dad. Taking him to see his hometown one last time. We will probably be eating at some roadside diner before kickoff.

Let’s go Cowboys!
Post of the day! Have a great trip! My dad is 89, I see him at least 6 times a week. He's one of the reasons I retired young. Time well spent. Tell us what he says about Jerry...lol
