I haven't figured out what pasta yet. I like thin linguine but my kids like penne, rigatoni and tortellini.

Have you considered Fettuccine as a compromise between the thin sphegetti and the larger mass pastas? May satisfy everyone

BTW, if you're not making pasta from scratch I suggest you start. Eggs, semolina, bread flour and olive oil. Get a used pasta maker off ebay for about 25 bucks and good to go........and the kids will have a BLAST helping you roll it out on the machine
