I'm shocked to be honest. There are still tickets available on game day via ticketmaster, and in the secondary market you can get decent tickets for only $70.

Anybody have any idea what gives?

How many are they selling. I know jerry can expand the stadium to hold something like 100,000 people. Did he expand it too much?

My guess it's because it's Detroit. If GB, their fans would be buying those unsold tickets.
As for Cowboys fans, they would buy too if not for Detroit. People don't see this game as "sexy" so won't go, and some just still need to see a playoff win before they sink $$$$ into a playoff game.

I'd buy one. You think I can snag a flight to Dallas from NYC in time for the game? :)

That's embarrassing. This is a playoff game.

I doubt that...this is Dallas first playoff berth in years, its the playoffs man.

That stadium is huge and will be rockin come game time regardless if it's sold out or not. Don't let that "sold out" thangy fool you, it will be packed and on fire.

This.

If a home playoff game isn't good enough for a fan, that fan should find another team. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying everyone can afford it, but if a local fan can afford it, and their reasoning for not going is that they're not interested in seeing Detroit play, that's about as weak as it gets.

All I ever hear from DFW fans is excuses.

"People don't go to games because they're sick of 8-8 and we haven't had a winning team in a long time." We're in the damn playoffs.

"Tickets are too expensive." They're expensive everywhere. And they can be had for face value or less right now.

"The game isn't sexy enough." Again, it's a playoff game. Our first in years. Pathetic.

Its a damn good thing its Detroit and not Green Bay this week. It'd probably be half green and gold in there.

I would say its more likely to be Dallas fans not buying. I went to the Detroit game in '13, yeah that morbid disaster, and the stadium was at least half Lions fans.

Just pathetic for those who don't go to the games, no matter what your reason are, like living out of state. So you can't go, but don't biatch at the fans who don't go, just because they live close by.
You don't know the circumstances. If they don't want to go, then so be it.

FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO WHINE ABOUT....I'm sure you can.....

ote="jazzcat22, post: 5900285, member: 1069"]There will be most likely over 90,000 there today, so less than 10,000 tickets left....I don't think it will show much or be a factor....[/quote]

Exactly...
