Really...wow, I have never seen that or experienced that.....are you talking from actual experience, or from what you read?

I've heard of and read that experience numerous times, so I'm not dismissing it as a great coincidence at this point. I've even read a poster at another board state it was true, but he was defending the people that were telling other fans to zip it, as he is apparently one that does so.

Personally, the closest I came to it was actually at Texas Stadium. With that said, nobody got to the point of being confrontational in any of my visits. Came pretty close in the parking lot with idiots after a game (after a win at that), but that was the closest to any issue. I was never quiet for anyone during a visit, although if it came down to security asking me to be quiet, I suppose that would have been the only option.

As long as its televised .I am happy.
The beer is cheaper and I can park for free at my house.
There are no long lines in front of my refrigerator and I can take a piss without rubbing shoulders with some dude standing next to me

www.forbes.com/sites/jesselawrence/2015/01/03/dallas-cowboys-tickets-going-for-less-than-face-value-for-wild-card-matchup-against-detroit-lions/

I'm shocked to be honest. There are still tickets available on game day via ticketmaster, and in the secondary market you can get decent tickets for only $70.

Anybody have any idea what gives?

Anybody in the Dallas area can make it to the game? I had to cancel my trip last minute and live in Hawaii so can't make it. I just want the 2 tickets to go to real Cowboys fans that will yell like crazy. Let me know and I will message you the pdfs. (I can't start my own thread if someone can bump this) Aloha and Go Cowboys!! Forgot to add the are 2 Club level seats cowboys 30 yd line! Good seats

From my experiences attending Cowboys games . The local fan base aren't nearly as passionate as the traveling fans. Every time I go most fans are traveling from Cali or another state . As soon as there's a bad play I hear comments like " I'm selling my season tickets!" Or " romo you're a joke of a QB " . It's sad but true , the stadium relys on people traveling to the game.

As I stated in my last post, some of that complaining is rooted in the game experience, more specifically, fellow Cowboys fans that attend and make the experience miserable for others.

I was told to sit down multiple times during my first game in Dallas a few years ago. Here I was jazzed up to be at my first game in the big D, cheering like a madman while my entire section sat there on their butts . It was the worst stadium experience I've ever seen. I hope today will be rockin.

They're weird , you get up and try too get loud on 3rd down and people look at you like you're crazy ! And that's what the big board telling everyone to do ! Every 3rd down you're suppose to make noise .

Exhibit A.

Seriously though, and I'm not trying to be a jerk to anyone, but I've heard and read this from numerous fans over the past few years. It's just sad. I mean, if you're wasted, spilling beer on people, cussing the whole time, I get it. If you're a lame duck Cowboys fan with your butt glued to your seat, and you can't get off your big, fat butt to cheer on your team, or make noise to make life a little harder for the other team, you're wasting your money on those tickets.

oh yeah...I was at the 1st game [regular season] ever against the Giants, with 105,000 plus...now that was rocking...

Good for you. That must have been a great experience minus the outcome of the game :(:(

I wouldn't agree with that. Even if you're sitting down quietly the whole time, the experience is definitely worth it. Standing and making noise doesn't make the experience for a lot of people.

To be fair, I suppose I should state the bigger issue is when some folks have a problem with other people being enthusiastic. Now with that said, folks that remain seated and quiet the entire team probably shouldn't be too vocal when others are critical about how quiet the stadium seems to be at times it probably shouldn't be quiet.

i dont think the fire marshall will let them go over 90k anymore. i think 90k is a sellout now.

True, people have no business complaining about people making noise, but I've yet to go to a quiet game and never seen this happen. I am a little annoyed when fans stand when Dallas has the ball though.

I do think the PA announcer needs to work on what they say. I remember in the Colts game, as Dallas was coming up to run a play, he made an announcement that caused the crowd to cheer, and Romo had to quiet them.

The fire marshall must be an Eagles fan....LOL

lol i remember they had some crowd control issues for that first game. the platforms that hold the party pass folks were jammed packed. since then i don't think we've had a 100k+ game other than the super bowl.

I think TV coverage is so good that most fans prefer watching a game at home on the big screen TV.

It's the stadium size I guess…you will always end up with available tickets when you are trying to sell 100K+ tickets…
I think the place will be crazy at kick off time…

I am not a stadium guy but if I were in TX or OK I'd be there for sure

But those headlines make me laugh really…they just want to grab anything to make a joke on the Cowboys…why don;t TiqIQ or ticket master tell us how many were sold?????
