8-0 on the road
4-4 at home

I think that's pretty telling.

ONCE AGAIN....those 4 losses at home, Romo not healthy, or did not play, or 2 days between games...
The games he was healthy, time to prepare....what happened in those games...oh, Beat the crap out of the Saints, Beat the Texans and showed we will hang into games, as Romo punked Watt, beat a rival in the Giants, and destroyed the Colts.

Now that is also pretty telling....

I got tickets to the 2009 game on Friday I think for face value and made the trip from KC. The place was rocking. I don't think this is an issue really.

Ohh I'm not saying it's 100% of the reason we're 4-4 at home, or even the major factor. I know that Romo was not healthy or whatever you want to call it, but you're fooling yourself if you don't think home field advantage (or disadvantage for a better term) played a part in those games. Do you not remember how the season opener first looked? It was such a complete joke.

If you had seen that picture, and didn't see the blue endzone, would you have believed that was a home game for Cowboys? We have a terrible homefield advantage in comparison to other teams, I don't see how anyone could disagree with that, but each to their own I guess.

Quit the complaining, out of towners. We know you're great Cowboy fans.Jerry built a stadium for year 2025 and has crammed 105,000 plus into it after leaving Texas Stadium, capacity 65,200. Short notice playoff games in 100K stadiums are only capable of what the airlines will allow.I expect the stadium to be filled to "stated" capacity with an additional 10K in the party pass standing room only areas. No reason to trash the local Cowboy fans.

I expect there to be 100,000 people there and ready for the game. If we have a few tickets still available, it ain't like people aren't showing up for the game. We just have a big house.

I think the "trashing" is a result of a lot more than one game or simply a matter of going to games. Theres been numerous threads over the past few years regarding how some of the fans that attend basically suck. The big complaint I've read and heard of is the Cowboys fans telling other Cowboys fans to sit down and shut-up... when the other team has the ball... and they're in the red zone. I mean, ***?

For those you whine about it, then go to a game...matter of fact, they can start planning and saving right now to go to a game in 2015 season....ready for that challenge?

Would be best if that 2015 game is in 2 weeks when we host the NFCC game.....:D

As I stated in my last post, some of that complaining is rooted in the game experience, more specifically, fellow Cowboys fans that attend and make the experience miserable for others.

I tried to buy tickets when they were released. Within minutes there were only re-sells available. An hour or so later the re-sells were gone also. As someone mentioned, I bet these are expended seats due to high demand.

Really...wow, I have never seen that or experienced that.....are you talking from actual experience, or from what you read?

I wonder how many of these unsold tickets are Party Passes with raised prices...

When I last looked for tix, it was about $200 a seat. Sadly I'm not going today, but not because of the price.

I wonder. I keep hearing stuff like this from outsiders, but I've yet to go to a game where the crowd wasn't great and I didn't have a great time. And I've sat in club level seats and upper concourse... the fans do not differ that much.

Just moved to Texas back in October. Wish I would've realized. Totally would've made the drive up from Katy.

Right.
I planned to go all along since I had my tickets.
But for grins from a bet with a friend, I listed them at a high price. My tickets were $395 per seat, and listed them at $950 each just to see. Pulled them off the listing yesterday.
I win a steak dinner since they did not sale...:)

That was the first game of the season where EVERYONE including 3/4 of this board thought this team was gonna suck.

One thing about the Dallas sport fans is that they love a winner for they are a front running town.

What's the diff if the place is 89,000 deep or 91,000?

It will be loud.
