Game Streams?

Wait, what? Why am I just now reading about this?
They recently announced they will sell the Ticket to anyone this year so no need for trickery if the Ticket is the way you want to go.

Mods I apologize if I posted this thread on the wrong board as I wasn’t sure where to post. Move if you must. Thanks!

I finally cut the cord and cancelled my DirecTV subscription. I live out of the Dallas market and am wondering what everyone else out of market does to get Cowboys games that aren’t televised nationally. I remember reading last year about live Reddit streams. Is that still a thing and if so how do I access? Or, could I access games using one of the popular streaming sites using a VPN to hide my IP address and thus change my location? Just looking for ways to access my Cowboys games as I don’t miss a game and now without Sunday Ticket I have to figure out how. Thanks in advance.

Reddit is your best betto watch live and if you want a site where you can join and dload the games later. If interested send me PM and I'll give you the address. They have a home page where the Cowboys are usually listed if you don't want to join but if you join there is a page where you can dload any NFL game that's been played that season and then all the playoff games and the Super Bowl. They also have MLB, NBA and NHL games too.

That is false. AT&T/DirecTV has the exclusive rights for NFL Sunday Ticket and that runs through the 2022 season. They announce that they will hold their exclusive rights until that contract expires. What you're talking about is the NFL lifted their restriction of a blackout for any local games. If anyone had the ticket in previous years and lived in a market that was blacked out for local channels Sunday Ticket couldn't air for those people either.

Installing Kodi is not jailbreaking your fire stick. Jailbreaking is an iOS term anyway. Kodi is just a media player. Yes, there are a ton of add-ons for streaming movies, sports, etc but all the add-ons for football have never worked well for me. I probably use the same website the other poster mentioned. Last I checked, reddit had removed all the links on the page to the game streams.

I just went to their site and they have all the NFL logos at the top and list a couple of NBA games to stream live when they start. They don't have any games yet because the season asn't started yet. They only list games that can be streamed.

In Canada we have a couple legal options. One is the NFL Sunday ticket through your cable provider or DAZN (this is my streaming service) in which the NFL signed an agreement with them to provide NFL games...its 20/month and also has soccer, MLB network, boxing, some auto racing...etc. Its a European company and completely legit. I will be activating my membership in the coming weeks. Those outside of the US might want to check them out. I do not know if they are available in the US. A great service and reasonably priced...

It appears you are correct. I definitely heard that more than once over the past couple weeks but I didn't go verify for myself. I'm pretty sure i even heard it on the radio so someone put it out there & folks ran with it. I assumed they were trying to sell more subscriptions due to their plummeting satellite subscriptions so it made sense.

I don't know for certain but I would guess that company would be violating contracts with the NFL and U.S. networks that carry games and therefore I doubt it will be available legally to people in this country.

I saw something about nflur.com the other day. Never tried it and not sure if you need a VPN, but was thinking about it instead of getting the ticket. I'm a grandfathered user who can get the nfl ticket as a standalone do I'm hesitant to give that up.

My dish is years old so i just use the online option only for high definition. The only downside is the $400 year cost.

I think we are talking about different sites. I was referencing the actual NFLstreams subreddit, not the site they set up as a replacement (which works great!).

Your right Kodi is the app has nothing to do with the actual jailbreaking of the firestick

I might be outdated but I jailbroke my Amazon Firestick. I got all the local affiliates and can see every game. I only use that wizardry for the NFL season so that may no longer be an option in 2020 but it worked like a charm.

He added kodi and was able to get live streaming games. We are going to invest in VPN as well.
ya, but you have to hack Kodi,, anyone can go online if you dont know a hacker, and even order a jail broke fire box on line,, got a couple off ebay a few years back,,
problem is, they only work for a bit, might get a couple seasons, and then its back to square one.
But, still much cheaper than the Season ticket *****...
Just google Jail broke fire box,, you can watch the games without being bent over.

I believe side loading is the term for Kodi on firestick. It's allowed you just have to use the download app.

Just give directv an address within an apartment complex online and you can get NFL ticket without having direcTV. That's how I've done it for years. That is if you are okay paying for it. If you want it free then yea online somewhere I'm sure has it.

I've heard the streaming service for Sunday NFL ticket is unreliable though.

Have you used it? And were you happy with the service?

...I have been using Reddit for a few years...recently I'm streaming Spectrum's Total Choice package (10 channels of your choice for 24.95/mo,& free local channels) so for football I added the NFL channel, ESPN, and Fox for mostly Cowboy games...and I'll still use Reddit for everything else...Sports should be covered this season!

Reddit streams are the way to go. While I'm a sucker, and pay $300 dollars a year for NFL Sunday Ticket - I stream most Chicago White Sox games perfectly at home on my computer because they rarely are nationally televised.
yeah the stream links change all the time, after trial and error I too found a good old google search of "reddit mlb streams" or "reddit nfl streams" gets you the latest working ones every time. No more bookmarking or asking on forums necessary

plus the quality has increased dramatically in the last several years
