Then again, it depends. Here's the remaining regular season schedule:

@ New York: The Weather Channel 10-day forecast predicts sunny daytime high temperatures of 45 degrees with 11 mph winds. Should the weather prediction stay on track, wind will be the main concern. Of course, wind is always a concern for any team playing in The Meadowlands.

@ Dallas a.k.a. Home Sweet Dome
@ New Orleans: Dome Away From Home
@ Washington: FedEx Field. Two days after Christmas. (???)
@ Dallas a.k.a. Home Sweet Dome

If the team reaches the playoffs, the best case weather scenarios in the NFC Wild Card Round could be:

@ Dallas a.k.a. Home Sweet Dome
@ Atlanta: Dome Away From Home
@ Arizona: Dome Away From Home
@ San Francisco: Think January, California on the coast (Rain ???)
@ Seattle: Northwest Washington isn't that bad in mid January (Rain ???)

Worst case weather scenarios in the NFC Wild Card Round could be:

@ Carolina
@ Washington
@ New York
@ Philadelphia
@ Green Bay
@ Chicago

Take your pick. The weather could range from decent-to-cold (Carolina/Washington/New York) to maybe awful-and-godforsaken (Philadelphia/Green Bay/Chicago).

If the team either beats the wild card barrier or possibly benefit from a late season nosedive from New Orleans or Minnesota, the best weather scenarios in the NFC Divisional Round could be:

@ Dallas a.k.a. Home Sweet Dome
@ New Orleans: Dome Away From Dome
@ Minnesota: Dome Away From Dome

The NFC Championship Round could be a mixture of the previous scenarios.

So, I guess the moral of this post is, the sooner that the Panthers, Commanders, Giants, Eagles, Packers and Bears are out of the playoff/weather picture, the better. :p: For the time being though, Philly and The Pack are still solidly in the mix along with their possible, awful-to-godforsaken weather. Ah well. Que sera sera. :)

It's never been nicer in the Northeast. Maybe that won't stay, but it's great right now.

When it happens, just remember to let the anger consume you. If you feel the urge to throw your laptop through your television, just do it. Go with the flow. That'll teach him not to wear sleeves this Sunday.

Hopefully Roy Williams left Tony some of his long sleeve tshirts so everyone can ***** about them again. :laugh2:

We were just talking about this last night. *IF* Dallas makes the playoffs, it's possible for them to play indoors the whole way. Odds are that most of the playoff games will be indoors. Eliminating weather as a factor is great, no excuses when you're in a nice dry warm dome.

Shhh, be quiet about that weather stuff!

You can probably scratch possible games at Chicago, Carolina and Washington off the list. Those teams aren't making the playoffs. If they do make it, especially Washington it means that Dallas doesn't make the playoffs.

to make matters worse for Sunday it is the late game when it really gets hairy at the Meadowlands as you get closer to sundown...I just hope JG calls for the passing game early and go to the run later in the game when passing in the wind becomes risky...

The wind is more of a disadvantage for the Giants, and plays into our hands. We hung 250 yards rushing on that defense earlier, and their offense has a penchant for stinking in the running game. Is Bradshaw even playing?? Jacobs is sucking big time right now.

I'll take our running game versus theirs, and our run d versus theirs.

This is why it's so crucial to have our running game clicking this time of year.

Im hoping for all the snow games we can get. Screw domes. Domes are for the people that think dodge ball shouldn't be played in gym, sissies.

Domes are here to stay. More will be built in time.

Fight the power, my friend, no matter how much of the fight itself is already over.

December in Washington can be iffy. It can be cold. It can also be 60 degrees. At least that's how it's been the past 3 years up here. But it looks like late Fall will really arrive here later this week for all of us in the Northeast.

There is an old saying in the Northeast: If you don't like the weather, wait a minute and it will change. Growing up in upstate NY, this was so true. One minute it was a comfortable 75 and the next day it is below freezing.

If we win the Division, we will be playing indoors for the entire playoffs.

Wildcard round is at Dallas (yea, open roof but still indoors basically).

2nd round will be trip to either NO or Minny (both are domes)

NFC Championship.......will be either at NO, Minny, Arizona or Dallas (depending on if we are the 3rd or 4th seed).

Either way, if we win the division we will not have to play outdoors until the SB in Miami (if we actually got that far):D

For the "I Hate Domes!" crowd, that's gonna suck big time! :laugh2:
