How do you reverse sear?

I start them off smoking about 250 deg of indirect heat until rare inside(130-135 temp). Then, I make the fire as hot as possible with a cast iron directly over it. Sear steaks for a couple minutes each side, the steaks will come out MR to Med.

I find it a more precise method to cook to medium rare.

Hmm all this food talk makes me think I should do something. Last night we had ribs so that is out. Might grill 50/50 burgers (50% ground sirloin, 50% ground bacon) but still have another hour working outside before I can head to the store.
