Good morning!! Using the outdoor skillet to make some chicken fajitas with bell pepper, onion and mushroom. Smother it all with some gooey Mexican hacadero cheese!! The wife is making Charro beans with extra bacon and sliced Earl Campbell spicy sausage. We'll use flour tortillas slathered with quacamole as plates!

Smoked the end of a brisket yesterday and cubing it up right now for some “burnt ends” bbq sandwich and fries. Go Cowboys!

Were there Vikings in Minnesota? Is that something that has been historically proven? I'm not sure that's something that was real. So the theme to today's menu is no utensils. We are eating like savages today with finger food. Turkey legs, corn on the cob, hot wings, and corn dogs. Beer and Wine to wash it down and for the sober folks, we have soda pop. Poker starts at noon and stops when the Cowboys game kicks off. We have lots of napkins so don't mess up the playing cards. Invite to friends and family has already gone out so if you didn't get one don't crash the festivities... unless you bring plenty of gambling money. $20 buy-in.

Breakfast: toasted pita bread w/ garlic hummus, coffee and OJ (vodka optional).

Early and afternoon games: all day tamales.

Cowboys game: will slow-cook a blade roast...then chop it, season it and refry it for corn tortilla tacos. Frijoles and salad on the side.

We won’t run out of beer!
