Woke up to Bacon, egg, cheese burritos waiting on me. I noticed the smoker bellowing smoke and before I could ask..my wife proceeds to tell me we’re having Smoked Mississippi Pot Roast Po’Boys later!

side note: these Po’Boys are not only delicious, they’re also great for soaking up beer (and tears if needed lol)

My wife and daughter are making Bistek taquitos with cilantro, chopped onions and guacamole. Sides of rice, beans, house salad with lime juice and plenty of chips, salsa and queso dip to munch on throughout the day.

BTW gang, my 85 year old dad and my wife's 80 year old aunt are coming over to watch the game. I normally like to watch the game by myself, but this could be interesting!!!!

My saying is I’ve been in the DFW most of my life and can’t wait to get the hell out. I need that Rocky Mountain High, and I’m bot just talking about weed, I love the mountains and cold weather.

I've been living in Green Bay for few years now and having to spends months after months after months after months after months after months after months in frigid cold weather and having what seems like only 3 days of summer SUCKS!.

I have six racks of baby back ribs in the smoker right now.
Going to whip up some BBQ baked beans and a mean potato salad.
Homemade peach cobbler for dessert. And some homemade flavor Blue Bell vanilla ice cream to put on top of it .

Green Bay has always been intriguing to me but I love to hike and snowboard so I need mountains along with the cold weather.

Not to mention people up north complain about the cold but I’ll take that over the metroplex summers with triple digits and high humidity. It blows, can’t do anything outside. The nasty area likes are like diesel infused warm bath water, constant ozone warnings, profusely sweating after being in my truck for a minute, walking outside in the morning feels like walking into a sauna, nothing but concrete for miles...I hate this dump.
