I bought a pork belly from Costco this week. Extra thick sliced some bacon this morning, marinating in some maple syrup and apple cider vinegar with pepper. I will get it on the Smoker in about an hour.

Probably won't be ready until this evening.

Good morning!! No time to cook today, ordering a Botana platter. Consists of bean and cheese nachos, topped with beef and chicken fajitas and more cheese, with a side corn tortilla quesadillas. Guacamole and all the fixings on the side along with some Charro beans!!!
What's on your plate???

Salud, Go Cowboys!!
:omg::eek: what no Putty Burger or Kitty Litter Rice :omg:

In case if a culmination of eating the various things on the menu and watching today's game gives you the browns:

I've been waiting for this thread!

I have no idea. The movers are coming Monday and Tuesday to pack and load our household goods for the move to Montana. Needless to say, almost everything we cook with, eat from or, well, eat... Is packed.

I'm thinking take-out soup and sandwich with an adult beverage ( that I believe my wife has left unpacked).

Next week, I'll have to change my moniker to Montanaboys or, something like that.

Cheers!!

Can't taste so even though I've got all sorts of things I can make, nothing sounds good - because nothing is.....I've got a stack pack of 2 dozen HEB Mi Tienda crispy tostadas so I'll probably make 2 of those spread w Gebhardt refrieds, sour cream, Valentina Mexican hot sauce, and stacked high with lettuce, tomato, cheese. At least it's got texture. I'll "pair those" (poking fun at that stoopid snobbish uppity restaurant phrase) with copious amounts of ice cold "unsnobbish" poor man's Frio6.0 (best bang for the buck but HEB raised the price $2 a 30 pack recently ) cervesa in a frozen mug with green olives in the bottom (former Cardinal Puffs on Greenville in Dallas trick.) It all tastes like carbonated water to me so at 6% abv it shouldn't take many to get to a good place - totally slammed. In fact I might even start now. My old Cardinal Puffs record back in the late 70s was 2 pitchers. Fortunately, I wasn't driving and we made it safely across Central back to the dorm - no studying that night! :D
