Gameday Menu

Merry Christmas! My oldest is back home from college -Cal Berkeley, so I made gumbo. Spending the day with the in-laws.

To sustain my sanity, I'll keep hydrated with Crown and Diet Pepsi.
That's great, my daughter and son in law came in for two weeks. Bought him a tonneau cover for his new truck, spent some time installing it, then he's been helping me feed the cows and fix a few things in the barn...my daughter wants to raise her kids on a farm, so she asked me to teach him. He's an airplane mechanic in the Air Force so it doesn't surprise me that he's pretty handy with a wrench. Been getting to know him better....he's a good kid and treats my daughter very well.

Thank your son-in-law for his service. My old man was in the Air Force.

Eldest son & daughter have flown over from England to spend christmas with me (my first in Toronto) so I have prepped a traditional British christmas dinner, Turkey, roast pork, roast potatoes, broccoli, carrots peas & pigs in blankets (bacon wrapped around small sausages). We will have that around 5pm because we are heading to my local bar first to watch the game & shoot some pool while sinking some christmas spirits

This is an easy one leftovers, leftovers ,and yup More ,leftovers, which in my case is lasagna, ham, and some of the sides left; I think it was spinach casserole mashed potatoes. Full tummy=satisfaction.

I will be eating that stuff all week since I hosted last night was my Christmas family gathering....

Dang, crab legs sound good. Might take the family to Louies Backyard on South Padre Island this week for their endless crab legs!!! Was gonna go fishing in the Gulf, but that would burn an entire day...this may be a good alternative....Merry Christmas...take it easy on the haters, today. They have feeling too!! Lol
I’m on a mission from God.

My wife put the brisket in at about 2 am and prepped the rest. I supervised to make sure she was doing everything right!! Merry Christmas and Go Cowboys! I want a win, some want a better draft pick. May your wish come through, unless you we naughty!!!!
Scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns
And orange bun casserole

Guess I was late posting. Grilled Sausage in the fireplace. Then had grits, eggs, sausage with cheddar. Watched the grandkids play all day. Funny thing in SC, had to turn on the AC to enjoy the fire. Put together a trampoline then went fishing at my pond. A great day, Merry Christmas Y'all.
