Then use Blue and Williams to close out the game. Ceedee should have 10-12 targets and Pickens/Ferg 8 targets split amongst them.

Dak’s a front runner. The Cowboys are a different team anytime they have a lead.

The Eagles bring back pretty much the entire Super Bowl offense, although they do have a new OC. Maybe we have a better overall defense than last year, but the Eagles are going to score some, probably at least 24-30 points.

The Eagles defense will be a work in progress. New DE's that have very little experience. Missing Milton WIlliams at DT. New secondary that isn't a likely upgrade.

OUr offense should be able to move the ball but we don't want to get into a shootout. Ball control with play action, long drives are likely to be what we need. Defense has to avoid giving up the big play.

They have a new OC every year. If a new OC is a negative, what is a new OC, a new DC, and a new head coach. Their new OC has been on their coaching staff for years. I guess that still counts as new, sort of.

Run the ball and minimize the amount of time the Eagles offense even gets on the field. But if it’s all about stopping Barkley don’t forget about Hurts. Hurts is younger and nearly as fast as Barkley. And he gets the ball on every play.

Our run game will be more effective than 2023, in part because Dak is healthy. In part because of Adam's and Riley.

Early. With little time together we may not see OL gel enough to make a huge difference. Turpin and Blue provide speed we've not had at that spot in a long time.

Im not concerned about offense, CD and Pickens put a ton of pressure on defenses.

The enigma is the D.

Seems like a lot of posters forgot that Kansas City's game plan was to take away Barkley and makes Hurts beat them. It didn't work out well for them.

We cannot match their ball control offense. Our best chance is most likely a crazy shootout and hope we get the ball last.

This upcoming QB class is so deep that Dallas doesn’t need to do anything crazy to find a guy who can replace him.

Dak needs to put up or shut up this year.

What do you guy think the path is to beating Philly.

To me I think a Bill Parcellls special is needed.

I know our strength is our wideouts & QB but to me Dallas needs to run the ball early & often & control the clock.

Try to keep this game close until the 4th quarter.

If we come out trying to go toe to toe with this team we will get ran off the field. We’re walking into a hornet nest against the Super Bowl champions on opening night.

Must admit.. I have absolutely no idea how the run game will go.

Usually you can have a feel for these things.. but I've got nothing.

If it goes well.. god it would be great to see.. if it doesn't hopefully Pickens can make a difference.. and hopefully CD can't be doubled now.

In truth we haven't had a guy like Clark that can help in the run game. If he immediately assists there, the game can be closer than most of us are predicting. I'm looking forward to watching him.

A successful run game. If the RBs are natural they should find some daylight with the help of the that massive and talented top notch OL draft picks.

That would setup the play action one might think. Keep them honest with F.erguson, then take your shots with Cee Dee and George.

Special team play, meaning Turpin doing his thing at the least with field position, Anger, making crucial punts. Not worried about Aubrey. Although we want 7's not 3's.

Speaking of special teams there's a quirky new format regarding kickoffs; hope the team figure out its advantages. Fifteen yards and we're just about there.

Interesting to see if a "team" leader on defense is in the making.

I get the running the ball thing. I believe that’s true.

But who’s going to “pound the rock” for us Thursday night? I can’t see Javonte Williams and his 3.7 yds per carry or mini-scat back Jaydon Blue as capable of doing that.

It’s one thing to have a plan. But you need the horses to carry it out. Not convinced we do. Maybe I’ll be proven wrong Thursday night.
