You left out the starting guard and running back.Who exactly have they lost? Hargrave and GJ and a LB?
They drafted Dean and Davis last year and have 2 rd 1 picks

BOTH starting lbs, along with their starting guard nothing major lolWho exactly have they lost? Hargrave and GJ and a LB?

Can’t handle the truth?LOL, you guys
Pump that sunshine somewhere else
They lost a very good pass rushing DT. The best available this season. They’re going to replace him with a run stopping, rotational player that will come out on passing downs.Yeah, people forget they got a DT and LB that have upside last years draft.
Like I said, Dean and Davis fill 2 of thoseThey lost two starting LB’s, CGJ, Hargrave, Sanders, Dillard, Seumalo, just off the top of my head.
I’m not sure if there are any others.
Davis does not just replace Hargrave, who was very good getting after the QB. Davis is a part-time run stuffer who never has pressured the QB. They’ll have to pull Davis out on 3rd downs and put someone else in.Like I said, Dean and Davis fill 2 of those
Then they have 2 rd 1 picks
OG are available in rd 2/3 every year and LBs and RBs even later
Yeah they’ve lost players but they have a plan in place
League average. Maybe a little better, but not close to Pro Bowl level. He made his this year creating TO's, and he had more picks this year than in NO combinedWasn’t he good before he got there though? Thought he had some locker room issues.
I would imagine, Kearse-Hooker-Wilson would be why.Why just a one year deal for Chauncey ? Rental a year Player ?
Is he difficult to deal with in locker room and with coaches ?
I'm guessing he overshot the market and by now most of the dollars have dried up. Makes no sense to sign an under value (to him) long term deal when he figures he can try again next season after a one year contract. Why just a one year deal for Chauncey ? Rental a year Player ?

They lost their top 5 tacklers on defense from last year. That’s 470 tackles gone.Who exactly have they lost? Hargrave and GJ and a LB?

Hargrave also took the double teams. Right about Davis. That man gets tired with the quicknessThey lost a very good pass rushing DT. The best available this season. They’re going to replace him with a run stopping, rotational player that will come out on passing downs.
That isn’t a good trade off.
Dean, should be able to replace one of the LB’s they lost ok though. He’s undersized but plenty athletic.
The big loss is Hargrave and CGJ.
He was offered a long term contract by Philly earlier but wanted more money, that’s why Philly signed bradberry again. To be honest the Eagles defense (especially secondary) started to struggle when he was hurt. Something is up with him on a personal level if he can’t get more then a 1 year deal from Detroit.
I almost shed a tear for the shegals.Good to see him leave the eagles.
On a side note. Great move for the lions. If they can shore their defense up they could be a good team next year.
Eh, we'll see. When the expectations aren't there it's easier to sneak up on people. Now that those expectations are there is nothing guaranteed, especially with that franchise.Lions will be contenders next season…
They have 6 draft picks and 2 of them are late in the draft. Don't they need 2 safeties and a guard. Are they going to end up with 2 rookies in the back of their secondary?Like I said, Dean and Davis fill 2 of those

Davis did put the NFL on notice with his dominant year!!!!. Philly has good D-line, but the rotation is old. Dean is coming in off an injury and no one has any idea on how he will play. They lost a very good pass rushing DT. The best available this season. They’re going to replace him with a run stopping, rotational player that will come out on passing downs.

This I agree withThey were dumb to sign Slay and let CGJ go.
