With all of the coaching firings and hirings, it sure seems to me, that this really could be Garrett's last season as HC. I was actually surprised Jerry kept both Linehan and Miranelli and not fire at least one of them. So unless Garrett makes a deep playoff run, I suspect Jerry will move on from JG.
I sure hope that's the case. I mean there sure should be some form of accountability, right?
Isn't winning the bottom line and most important goal of any sports team?
I'd be perfectly OK if Garrett won big next year and everyone got to give me a "told ya so!" for being wrong about him. I'd gladly take the lumps, because it would mean that
this team won something. What do I care about some internet comments if that happens?
But, if they don't, I would hope that Garrett would be held accountable and a change would be made. After all, if I'm expected to be held accountable for my words and actions, shouldn't I expect the head coach of this team to be accountable as well?
