I think it's likely the blind man assigned to calling Garrett from upstairs that he should throw the flag who is responsible. Whatever the cause, it's clearly not even close to working. Let's hope they review how pathetically poor that decision was and do something about it. What a joke that was!

He said that it was a bad challenge, and that it was his fault. A follow-up question tried to get him to blame somebody else, but he said that even though there are other people involved in helping him decide whether to challenge, the final decision is his. He did say that in the looks that they had at the time, it seemed like the challenge was worth it.

The challenge flag has never been Garrett's friend, whether deciding to throw it or hold it, he's almost always wrong. It takes a special kind of skill to be as inept with the challenge flag as Garrett is.

It's come to the point that I am absolutely shocked when he gets the rare one right.
