Garrett appreciation thread

Why not? A 90 million dollar purse carrying punk diva who held this team hostage until he was over paid gets an appreciation thread for showing up in ONE game (mainly due to the O line) yet has lost us games and cost JG his job because he couldn’t handle the work load or hold on to the ball but JG continues to get bashed.

Garrett just schooled everyone’s favorite coach, one of the few they constantly reference when talking about hiring a new coach. Everyone can point to a few coaching decisions in each game that allegedly cost the team a win or loss but rarely to the players, especially fan favorites or golden girls like Zeke, get the blame. We were put in a position to win against NO (another coaching guru) and who cost us the game when it was on the line? Hint: it wasn’t JG yet he received the blame. Crucial 3rd down against the Bears, who took himself out of the game because he couldn’t handle the work load that he demanded to be paid for? Hint: it wasn’t JG.

Point being, like most games this season, McVay was out coached last night. The difference is our players finally did their jobs, pretty amazing what happens when they do what they’re paid to do, huh? I’m not saying JG should be extended, he’s been here too long, let him be the scape goat for another team, but lets give some credit where credit is due which isn’t a RB who demanded to be paid the highest at his position for doing his job behind the second best O line in the league a few times a season.
Garrett.......I appreciate you.

Garrett's team finally looked more prepared and ready to play vs Rams - how often can we say that ?

just about everyone picked Rams to beat Cowboys .. but only did Cowboys upset and beat Rams who also had a winning record - and off a true whoop beating of Seattle at that.
But Garrett's Cowboys just spank the hell outta the Rams ... on BOTH sides of the ball.

Rams offense virtually couldn't do anything vs Cowboys defense for more than better part of the game,... and Cowboys offense just geared up and ran the freakin ball down the Rams throat- a memorable pay back for Rams running the freaking ball down our throats back in the playoffs ... Revenge can be such a sweet thing sometimes :flagwave:

The sample size under the Carrot regime is large enough that I am confident that this team will either wet the bed against the Eagles, or beat the Eagles and go on to a one and done play-off run.

No thanks. Too little too late. "Jason, don't go away mad, just go away..."

The Lions, Browns, Bengals, Commanders, Giants, Bears, Bucs, Raiders, Titans, Dolphins, Jets, Bills, Jags and Cardinals would love to have this teams consistency since 2014.

but yes everyone realizes there needs to be a next step. I can remember the early 2000s where making the playoffs seemed like an unattainable goal

All this was, was the players finally policing themselves. And even if Garrett finally got through, it’s too far and few between. This type of dominating performance only underLines the type of team we really have and the horrid job Garrett has done.

The Rams were actually one of the hottest teams in the NFL coming into Dallas. We won b/c we were able to run the ball and Goff couldn't grip a football. McVay has already lead his team to a super bowl a feat that has alluded Garret his entire coaching career. So, Garret got him yesterday. Yay for us.

The problem is this: Do you have any idea which cowboy team is showing up next week? The one that played yesterday or the one we've seen that previous 3 weeks?

We won because of defense as well.

An “I hate Zeke” thread disguised as a Garrett appreciation thread.

No ulterior motive here.

Garrett needs to keep this going. And it is still time to find the next HC.

It's not often that a thread goes Norman Bates on the first post.
