Garrett was the poster boy for average with all of the 8-8 records. He was average after Jerry demanded changes every week. The guy should get a lot of credit just for being average considering the circumstances. If Garrett would have took a HC job anywhere else, he could have been a good coach or at the very least he would have had a real chance to be successful.

Funny, but the only way I ever compared him to Landry was his character as a good man. I have never compared Coach Landry to anyone. He was our best. Few are in his rarified air.

At some point, i get the feeling that another NFL team is gonna get infatuated with how " salesmanship " Garrett is upfront
and dare to give him another go at head coaching again in the NFL. He knows how to upsell.
