Dont know if this has been discussed. i am sure it has somewhere.

When Romo comes back do you cut Weeden?
In my opinion, that decision depends on how confident the staff is in Kellen Moore.

Awesome, C-Mike gets two carries. Double that workload. The other moves are much needed and quite obvious, IMO.

Jason Garrett - "Well you know, we like C-Mike a lot on those third and ones. We really anticipate a couple of those third down and ones during the Giants game and the plan will be to hand off to him in those situations. We really like how he prepares for the third and one situation."

I would cut Moore too and put him back on the Practice squad and cut Weeden. I would go back to having 2 QB's

Garrett's "process" of indecisiveness and inability to adapt never gets old.

We went into the season without 2 of the 3 QB's on the roster! Not to mention, the garbage we have on the roster at the RB position.

Don't you think Jones would have made an effort to get some quality in the backfield if Garrett pressed the issue?

Yeah, darn that Garrett, should have anticipated Romo getting hurt and Weeden sucking so much. :muttley:

Why announce this? Better to keep the Giants guessing no?

Because it's not worst wasting the time trying to disguise it in practice. I don't have a problem with it.

Or maybe it's the greatest ruse of all time and Romo will be back for the Giants!

He didnt even hint that Michael could be starting, his words were like, Joseph has been the starter, we use all of our running backs and will continue to...

... and our running game will continue to be a disaster as well.

I'd be like a little kid in the 80's getting a Nintendo on Christmas Day if that happened!

Anytime you're forced to make a QB change during the season in an attempt to try and shake things up and get a spark especially when you're going from one backup to another rarely does anything good come from it. We've seen this happen with other teams that are losing and it usually doesn't turn out real good. Any backup is going to be a liability because they're all inconsistent which is why they're backups. The only positive with the Cowboys situation that could possibly give them some hope is they're starting to get some players back. Hardy and McClain paid dividends last week at least for a half and with Gregory due back after the bye with the possibility of Dez returning it should help the Cowboys dire situation at least some.

Even with the players they're getting back unless they get the running game going and get some better play at the QB position until Romo returns it's going to be tough to stay afloat. Let's face it the Cowboys are starting to dig themselves a hole with 3 straight losses and if they lose to the Giants after making all these changes including at QB it's going to be a very long season because they're unlikely to have much of a pulse by the time Romo returns. They can't go win less or only manage one win until he returns and expect to make the playoffs. If they're going to stop the bleeding it has to start with the Giants.

Weeden sucking so much...uhm yeah. Everyone in the NFL knew how much he sucked.

Look at Pittsburgh. Less talent than us, but somehow finding a way to get wins without their starting QB.
Look at Indianapolis. Less talent than us, and are winning with a 40 year old QB.

What gives?
