Garrett will get fired at the end of this season unless there is a miracle and get into the playoffs, but when he does get fired, Marinelli will become our head coach and we will be the second team to go 0-16.

I'm predicting another 8-8 season. I don't wish bad things to happen to people, but I do wish that Garrett does get fired. I don't think he is coaching material. He doesn't have the feel for the game and doesn't understand momentum. Sometimes going to top school like Princeton doesn't help with the football IQ. It does help with the business part of things but not football.

He's getting fired if we don't make the playoffs. As bad as the division is we couldn't take advantage? Anybody who thinks he won't be fired is in for a surprise.

He'll get fired and with our luck with the division not looking too good, don't count out the Giants, might just go a run and take the division. Our luck as fans, the rest of the teams suck in our division but guess what, we are not any better. If we win this division it'll be with an 8-8 record

No chance garrett survives not making the playoffs four years in a row.

If there is an excuse to be had Jerry will find it: new defensive scheme, injury to X and Y, we played the AFC West, etc.

Hate this play calling , the conservative plays suck.. Just ask the Patriots, Broncos, & Saints HC's.. Hell JG is good friends with Sean, ask him to sell you plays JG... I can't believe I drank the coolaid... My bad ..& yes I know Callahan calls JG's playbook.

I like JG.

I like the way the roster is being constructed.

I like the guys we are bringing in and how they hold each other accountable.

I like how the team plays hard and likes playing with and for each other.

I like the churning of the roster.

do you also like the play on the field, a 56 yd fg attempt, or conservative play call, will you also like it when the Boys get trashed next week?

You must have missed it, he loves the 56 yard FG attempt.

Do you like the results on the field?

I don't like losing just like the next guy. What do you want the guy to do? He took over a veteran aging team and has made it younger, faster, more athletic and more accountable.

I am of the belief that when you do that results will follow.

We have lost two road games against two very good teams by a combined 10 points.

I'm not ready to throw out the baby with the bathwater after 4 games. But by all means...ignore all the good work JG has been doing because of a few plays here or there.

Dez doesn't drop a ball or the ref doesn't call a PI on Claiborne and perhaps we win in KC (a result that looks more impressive today).

We don't have 4 drops on 4 would be 3rd down conversions and perhaps we win in SD (what's worse is these drops are coming from the likes of our better players...Dez, Witten, Harris).

The path to sustained success is not linear.

I think everyone agrees that the Steelers are among the best run organizations in all of sports. They are 0-4. Tomlin isn't on the hot seat. Bill Cowher had a stretch where he went 7-9, 6-10, 9-7 and then 2 seasons later went 6-10 again. If he was here people would have wanted to tar and feather the guy.

I believe JG will be a good coach in this league because he is smart, disciplined and process oriented.

Does this team play hard for JG?

Has this team gotten better every year since JG has been here?

I think the answer to both of those questions is yes despite the back to back 8-8s.

Not really.

Some of our best players today are some of our youngest.

By definition then we must be a better team than we were a few years ago when that wasn't true.

Especially since we haven't lost anyone of note from the team...as in no longer affiliated with the squad.

Do you not think the offense has taken a clear step back from 2007 when Sparano was still here? Do you not see that we consistently have no running game. Do you not see that despite even "fixing" the offensive line this year we have trouble scoring points and playing consistently throughout the game?

What exactly is getting better?
