A lot of us who had Tony's injury/surgery said we were not convinced he is 100%. Have a feeling this is only just starting with his back

Having had a similar injury, I never understood the willing and given acceptance of "full recovery"

hopefully my experience is completely different

I am good either way with Romo,if his back is really bad then this is his last season here and we can make plans for the future,if he is ok then we can hopefully squeeze another year or 2 out of him.

I'm not sure where I heard this but Tony said a few days ago he'd be the best player he could possibly be 4 & 5 years from now. He acts like he thinks he can play till he's 40 & get better every year. So that's his mindset I guess or he's completely bs'ing everyone.

I'm with you.. But if he goes down and I mean IF.. I hope it's early in the season.. Mariotta, Petty or Hundley would be nice... I have no confidence in Weeden..

For those who haven't learned yet to speak Garrett "full go" means not yet on IR.

Honestly people you will drive yourself crazy trying to read between the lines on all this. I think you'd be better served working on the Kenneday Assasination or the 9/11 Hoax.

Not at all.

He has been ready for full go for at least two weeks now. They have a scripted plan and going to be extremely cautious, even if he is wanting to play more. They are determined to ease him in very slowly. No reason at all for risks. He is complaining some but they need to ignore him and stay with the plan.

In fact, to a lesser degree, they are determined to ease the entire team in slowly this training camp. The could have gone full contact already yesterday, but are waiting at least two days to get that level.

I don't know. That's the optimistic view. I like optimisim.

I'm about the same way but would prefer to compete this season as a fan. Honestly glad it came out now instead of predraft though, Manziel is not the prototype I want mgmt. looking for in their next QB. Gimme a tall gun slinger who can move around the pocket (not run out of it).

If, and only if there are problems....then the move with Orton was about as dumb as it gets.

I prefer to think of it as another genius move by the FO. One of many in recent memory.

If Romo can't go and Weeden is the starter, then we are clearly in the running for a top 5 pick where we land our next franchise QB. I think its all part of the 8 year rebuild plan.

I am sure Jerry will address this at his next press conference.

Well, uh, hmmm, well see Tony had surgery & well uh, nobody knows Tony better than I do. He told uh, Jason, hmmm, who we both know very well & Jason said well sit Tony. We knew,uh, this, eh, might happen & we, uh, will see how tomorrow goes.

No he didn't this is his comment “I feel personally like I’ve just started to come into the player that wanted to be six, seven years ago,” he said. “I think and I’ve said it before but I think over the course of the next four or five years, you’ll see the best version of me that I’ve had throughout my career.”

Over the course of that time from now until 4 to 5 years. In the meantime he also spoke they will limit him to start camp and now I see some posting as if he is done for the year? I swear, where do you people come up with this BS

Ok. He's what 33 now? So how can he be the best version of himself in 4 or 5 years if he's not playing? That's playing pretty close to 40 which is what I said.

We talked about this beforehand with all of our players. Whenever they are coming back, to be mindful of the two-a-days and what they are doing. You are out here for an hour. It doesn't seem like much. It’s a walk through situation. But you warm up for that, cool down and get started again in the afternoon,” Garrett said. “We just wanted to make sure we are careful on the two-a-days and then the consecutive two-a-days. I think the schedule sets up pretty well for him the next few days. It gives him a chance to get himself settled in. We will keep an eye on him every day."

Garrett said Romo will take all the first-team reps Saturday afternoon after essentially sitting out two practices _ Friday afternoon and Saturday morning's special teams practice.
