First of all, this is not a bash Garrett thread. Let's have intelligent discussion. To those of you who have played sports or ever had a coach of any kind, is it good or bad that Garrett cries in front of the team after practically every win? I ask because men tend to perceive crying as weakness. I can tell that they all love Garrett. I also heard about Landry and Parcells crying on rare occasions. I know they were both highly respected. The situation with Gallup is understandable, but Garrett cries over everything. As a woman, I think it"s awesome, but what do you men (and women) think? Can a leader of men cry a lot and be successful?

Well, ain't I special...I don't follow the herd there Omer...and it's not like it was claps brother who shot himself...now that I could go along with being teary eyed.
Crying is a emotion and one that displays compassion/triumph/hurt for something, you care enough to love something and give it you’re all not just physically but all of you. You are at the finger tips or the thing you love...and that takes heart and courageFirst of all, this is not a bash Garrett thread. Let's have intelligent discussion. Ahhh. so cling to a macho image at all costs - always look like a "man"? Okay, but I'm wondering how you can pride yourself in not following the herd, yet be so worried about not appearing different from the herd of "manly" men? Seems you are saying the individual (Garrett) should get in line with the herd (General Patton and what you consider to be appropriate for "men"). Seems like a lot of double talk.
Let me ask this ... if man refuses to show a softer side and stifles those emotions, and leaves his family and friends unsure how he feels - or worse, by keeping emotions stifled he becomes abusive - is he more of a man than one who shows those emotions and has a loving, supportive relationship with his family and friends?
Seems you are more worried about an outward appearance than substance, which, in turn, doesn't seem much like "going your own way". It seems like the opposite - like an effort to prove you are part of the herd.
uhh ok Dr Spock, whatever you think is right and good for the rest of us... good grief give it a rest. If your all comfy balling your eyes out, have at it, you can be whatever type girlieman you desire, It's America you have that right. but what you don't have is a right to try and tell me how to act, or show I'm a man's man because well, real men cry. That's your opinon there Omer, and well we all know they are like Aholes, everyone's got one. But you keep up the good crying, and shed a few for the rest of us.
Ok cryman, call it, make it up, input your opinion, never said anything of the like, but hey, what ever keeps ya dry there Omerlol - complaining that I am suggesting what is right and good for others, while you are, and have been, telling us what is right and good not only for Jason Garrett, but for all "men". First you were saying you don't follow the herd, and in the same breath you were saying men all have to act alike. Now this. You have a lot of double standards.
By the way, the word is bawling.

And I'm not, I just won't let you sit on your butt and put words in peoples mouths, no matter how important you think you are at it. I made general response to a post, all mine, never said you or any of your crying side kicks had to live with them, So go blow your nose, wipe your man tears off and drop it... you won't win, no matter how much you insert your own thoughts of what another "meant"....Are childlike insults part of being a man too? lol. Sorry buddy, but you can't run from what you have written.

aww ok Omer, so cry us a river now... ROFL you wrote what you wrote...DUH LOLlol - oh yes you are. You wrote what you wrote, you are playing the macho man while using 5th grade level insults at a laughable attempt to support what you wrote, and everything you write is filled with double standards. Sorry mister tough guy, but it isn't working.
