Gas prices?

Saw 2.05 today. My dad (Chicago) says he's grateful for 2.70.

thats been the average lately in IL it seems went to Campaign with the lady and gas was 2.4x she was mighty happy

The cheapest I've seen in Colorado is 1.99 but that was for E85. Regular unleaded is at 2.26 at best.

We finally made it under 2.00. I filled up yesterday @ 1.97

I'm starting to think about taking long weekend road trips... I can afford the gas now :)

Really? We are at 1.97 down here. We seem to be about a week behind you. Still can't figure why there is such a difference for only being a little over 2 hours away.

Well, about $.10 of that is extra taxes Kansas has that we don't have in MO. If I'm out in Olathe or somewhere and I'm low in gas I always make sure I make it back to MO before I fill up.

The real confusing thing was 2 weeks ago when I went east on I-70 to St. Louis. Once I got out of the greater KC area, everything was $.50 more.

Though gas hasn't dropped at all the past few days, still a low of $1.82 with most at $1.85. Not sure if it's finally gonna stop dropping or just a delay.

That explains it. I noticed gas is always higher going east on 70 also.

$1.95 at Sam's seems to be the low point around here the last few days.

3.15 here in Anchorage.

It is coming down......some

$22.00 to fill my tank tonight.
For the first time in quite a while I can tell the guy to fill it up.

It's not the $13.00 or so I used to pay for this old four cylinder heap, but it's better than $39.00.

Man, that must be nice. Even at $2.00/gal, it's still around $55 to fill up my truck. I need to buy a $50 4 cyl. beater to drive to work. Being able to hand over a 20 spot for a full tank would be awesome.

And that full tank would probably last twice as long, but sucks if you are in a crash vs said truck

That's true....then again, I also ride a motorcycle with no front brake, no rear view mirrors, no horn, no turn signals, and a suicide shift. At least the beater car would be warm in the winter. ;)

I saw 1.99 the other day.

Cannot believe it is down so much.

You still have full service stations? I can't remember the last time I saw that.
