He was already top 6 but this might make some team go up for him. The first trade up might not be a for a QB.
Thanks for talking me off the ledge.Position value may still work in your favor. Teams may pass going for the OT's and WR's
Its a gleem of hope
Thats the scenario that you dont want to see happen, but if you cant move down and Chase is your best player then you draftIf Chase is there at 10 do we grab him or let him slip by??
I think he's anywhere from 6 to I guess 10....A lot of teams in the top 10 need offensive lines and QB's and receivers. Its crazy because Dolphins have Gesicki so you just have to wonder if they'd pull the trigger to go two tight end sets or ship Gesicki out.
They also just spent a 1st last year on their starting LT, so I dont think they would want to direct that much future cap in the same position, they will either go QB if they think one is better than Tua, or they go wr/Pitts.I think he's anywhere from 6 to I guess 10....A lot of teams in the top 10 need offensive lines and QB's and receivers. A low 4.5 would put him in the 90th-95th percentile among tight ends, so consider the "elite speed" box checked.
For comparison, Derrick Henry ran a 4.52 at 247, and he is obviously hazardous to the health of every guy in the back seven. Pitts measured out pretty similarly.
Fix the OL and DL. In the Superbowl, I watched a team with a pretty good TE and the fastest WR and one of the best QB's take a beating because their OL sucked.
Damn and Falcons just traded for Hayden from the Ravens right?True but remember their HC is from Belichick's tree...... seems his offense and Brady always had TWO high-level TEs. So it would not surprise me at all to see them pull the trigger for this with the 3rd overall pick. Also, read a tweet keep an eye on the Falcons at 4.
It's good to have starters and depth in the trenches. Having depth on OL and DL allows an injury or 2 without missing a beat. Otherwise you trot out Chaz Green and Terence Steele as your OTsThe Chiefs OL was decimated by injury...
One of my favorite young WRs last year,, Claypool has a ceiling that almost cant be seen.Claypool ran a 4.42 at the same weight (238).
Florida TE Kyle Pitts ran a 4.46 40
the young man is 6’6” 240lbs
Ceedee Lamb 6’2”, 200lbs. Ran a 4.5 40
The Chiefs OL was decimated by injury...
I don’t see how the bengals could pass him up even if they need oline. Wouldn’t you love to give a young qb an inside weapon like that? He’s a monster. I really don’t see of us having s chance at him. He’s going to go top 6-7 I believe.
Exactly!I don’t see how the bengals could pass him up even if they need oline. Wouldn’t you love to give a young qb an inside weapon like that?
Yeah, if Howie continues to pass on star wideouts, he’s going to get run out of town on a rail. Thanks for talking me off the ledge.
Pitts is a similar athlete to Vernon Davis... but he is a way, way better football player than Vernon ever was.We heard all this hype about Vernon Smith too. He ran a 4.38. He was good but he didn’t single handedly change a franchise.
