Dang is this the Zone? Everyone is freaking happy.

Great win! Can't wait to watch all the analysts eat crow tomorrow.
I'm mad, <just saying it, so we can feel normal again>

Not used to feeling this good about the team. Starting to feel like the old days when I just felt we could win any game....been a long time...real long time....but still fits like a comfortable shoe....

Love the youthful energy these young bucks have put into this team. Not surprising they both played in big games for power 5 conferences. It shows.

I want to preface this post by saying I've only avidly watched football for about ten years. What exactly does Garrett do aside from press conferences if this is the case? Please excuse my ignorance.
Manages the the team and game. Oversees the gameplan and implementation. He comes up with the gameplans and defers to his coordinators. Thats what most NFL HC's do. Very few actually call plays

The same thing most head coaches do who are not coordinators. They oversee the operation of the team, making sure practices are done right, working with the coordinators on game plans.

An organization does not flourish without a good head coach. Look at us under Wade Phillips. Phillips is an absolutely masterful defensive coordinator, but he showed that he has no idea how to be a head coach. The ship sank under his watch. The attitude and work habits of the team are established by the head coach. He sets the tone.

New England has been good for years despite many changes at coordinator because of Bill Belichick (and having a great QB). Belichick understands how to run a team ... and also how to cheat and mostly get away with it.

Even when he gets caught he doesn't get punished.

My thing with Garrett especially during the 8-8 years was that very few HC's call there own plays. And most that do successfully like Payton and Reid are much more established coaches. Garrett never should have been HC/OC to begin with. Now that he is just an HC, you are starting to get better results out of the team as a whole and he is looking like a much more effective coach

Bringing in Linehan to take over the offensive playcalling is one of the smartest moves Garrett has made. I am positive that wasn't Jerry's idea. One of the first things a good coach has to learn is when to delegate stuff to someone else. Too many turn into control freaks and actually don't want to give up any responsibility.

8. Beasley simply put that defender to sleep on his second TD. he acted like he didn't even want to block because the play was going the other way. Nice one, Beas.
How about that route by Twill before the half that left that CB with 2 broken ankles? Went right by him.

It would be interesting to know how all that went down since Jerry supposedly took play calling responsibilities away from JG?

I know this is all in my head, but whenever I see gifs with someone clapping, or saying something where I can read their lips, I feel like I can actually hear it a little. Does this happen to anyone else, or am I just schizoid or something? lol.

That's how the Red Plague starts. Pretty soon, you'll hear him in your sleep, talking about process and stacking. PM me when you do, and we'll go ahead and carve the star on your forehead and send you out into the threads to clap and spread the word.

My thought, I had to sit for 3 hours looking at those awful Packer uniforms. It was a killer.
