GB 5-1 and My Meaningless Thoughts

1. I was a nervous wreck before the game. Mostly because of winning, but I wanted Dak to have the no interception records. I was elated when he broke it. And thrilled when that was rules a fumble.

However, I am also glad it isn't a thing any longer. I might have felt differently if Dallas lost, but that is not hanging over his head and everyone talking about it. he probably didn't care, but to me it means something if each week that was all the talking heads were focusing on.

2. Does Garrett look smarter now that he has the players to deliver. But

3. Linehan has his fingerprints all over this offense with the play calling. The players are executing, but Linehan is mixing it up and keeping the defenses guessing.

4. This defense played beyond my expectations. Some of it was Rodgers, but these guys are for real. And suddenly this team is getting turnovers.

5. It was nice to see a game where penalties went the other way for a change.

6. Zeke us a bully and so is his offensive line.

7. Does Dak get the nickname Hannibal now?

Great win, good time for a bye, and Dallas is going to beat the ever lovin' crap out of Philly in two weeks.

I don't expect Romo back until the Browns just to put him into an easier game. Someone on this board asked what if this team were 7-1 with Dak before Romo came back.

I posted that was foolish to even think that with a rookie.

Garrett and company flubbed the second quarter, but the third quarter was a new game and Dallas still prevailed.

That was nasty and on the first one....if you noticed he just jogged into his motion to the left, and then came back to the right and turned on the jets....almost impossible for the defender to stay with him. He has elevated his game....maybe that offseason with Randy Moss is paying off.

Garrett never should have been HC/OC to begin with. Now that he is just an HC, you are starting to get better results out of the team as a whole and he is looking like a much more effective coach
