Have to say I'm loving this team. Not so much the offensive coaching or game management, but I'm loving this team. No Romo, no Bryant, no Smith, no Gregory, no McClain, no Scandrick... no problem...

A lot of credit will be given to Dak, but I think he actually had one of his worst games here. Was very shaky early, which put the team in a pinch.

The reality is that Zeke Elliott is carrying this team on his back. The only thing getting in Elliott's way is when the coaches decide to get cute and give Morris carries for an entire drive. Please stop doing this. Elliott is better than Morris in every facet. He is an absolute beast, and the haters need to eat some crow here. He is exactly as advertised. First down after first down. I believe he now leads the league in rushing yards as well as rushing first downs... He is the reason why Dak is able to do what he is doing. This man is mean! Could have had 200 yards today if the coaches fed him. This boy is hungry, let him eat.

I hope people aren't down on Collins. We all knew Leary was a great player, but he isn't in the cards going forward. It is what it is. It was fortunate that we didn't trade him, and I was definitely on that bandwagon. We're lucky to have him.

I hope Bailey isn't losing his confidence with two back to back misses within 50.

Brice Butler needs to take a long walk at the end of the game. Not a smart guy, and very inconsistent. Needs to take the chip off of his shoulder and just play. Look at Beasley and how he did it. That's your template. Beasley is a straight up professional, which is more than I can say for Williams and Butler. I'll say it again, I'll take Josh Gordon in a heartbeat down the road.

The defense still needs to step it up, but they're not getting blown out out there. I hope that Lawrence can really make an impact on his return.

Dak had a few bad throws, but to be 23-35 245 yds 2 tds 0 ints is not bad but good. Let's not forget he's a rookie QB playing better than vets, I've never seen a rookie QB play this well. I did not see one throw that I thought was a bad decision.

Its gets harder after this one. Bengals. Packers. Eagles. We were front loaded with less quality teams in the first 4. We'll need all hands on deck to get through the next 3 games before getting to the Browns. And it gets no easier once we get past the Browns with the likes of having to play Pittsburg on the road. If we could go 3-2 over the next 5, I'd be jumping for joy.

I am going to enjoy this win. We showed a lot of guts, in thrilled with the results but...

The 49ers, Bears or Skins are not making the playoffs. These next two weeks are the test for this team. I'll be happy and sold with 1-1.

Just think if the JONES would actually invest in a Defense.....DAK, ZEKE and this OL with a solid defense.....sky would be the limit

The Bengals aren't a great team either. We were very lucky with our schedule this year and the Packers are quite ordinary this year.

Romo should return for the Eagles game.

I think they have in a way and they will more so going forward.

Think of the best case scenario for just a moment.

Randy Gregory comes back at the end of the year with his life in order.
Demarcus Lawrence comes back and is the player we expect him to be.
Jaylon Smith returns either late this year or next year and is the player we expect him to be.
I won't even mention Rolando McClain, though we haven't released him yet.

That is at least three players with A LOT of upside.

You spend two or three of your top 3 picks next year on defense. You get Tapper back, Collins develops... e.t.c.

Defense should get to where we want it in the next year or two.

I won't second guess what they are doing with Zeke, 23 rushes is just about right. I would rather have a fresh Morris getting some carries than running Zeke into the ground this early in the season.

I hope we continue to rotate them the same way, don't want Zeke running out of gas like Murray did. Plus we need Zeke long term......happy with the rotation.

You give Zeke a couple breathers during drives, but you don't give Morris his own drive every 3rd drive... That's not real diversification.

Agree. Just saying. The teams coming up in the next 5 are on average, better than what we have seen so far.

That's all.

Looking forward to it.

Radio reported that Bailey's back apparently tightened up before the game, so I hope its just that and it goes away as opposed to losin his confidence....

The biggest surprise to me is how well the secondary is playing.

absolutely the strength of the defense. Claiborne is finding himself, Jones is now in his second year, Carr is Carr, and that 6th round pick Brown isn't getting exposed.

Hell even Wilcox had a text book pass defense in this game, and I can't stand him.

Wonder if we can credit the new coach for this.

Nah he's a rookie. The rotation will help us if we actually make the playoffs.

How many carries do you want Zeke to get?? He got 23, if he gets 25 a game, thats 400 in a season.............wayyyyy too much.

20-23 carries for a rookie is just fine.

As I said, it isn't about the pitch count, it's about how they're taking him out of games. You want to sprinkle Morris in there, not feature him on drives.
