You've made a huge assumption with no facts to back it up. Next you'll be saying Green is better than Smith...

I didn't have to state on the field only, clearly that is what matters the most...

He keeps doing that and he will start getting called, plain and simple.

Funny you go on to say I assume something and than in the same sentence go on and make an assumption that I would say Green is better then Smith.

And clearly on the field isn't all that matters around these parts see Dez

You get very defensive when someone doesn't agree with YOUR position GB

I see you're thoroughly enjoying this road win?

over all i am but not for the score. I feel Dak won more than just the score, i feel we did ok without Dez, but still need him. I dont feel just because we won we dont need him. I think the defense did what was expected. I think Clairbourne had a good game and his confidence is coming up. I think Elliot is getting himself going at the right time. If we played a harder team i feel he would be set back some. This was teh right game for him.

Do i feel we beat a good team? No. Am i glad they have Chip? yes. Do i have more faith in our coaches? no. Did we beat a depleted team? yes that even lost a good player during the game which allowed us to open up the run game. But at the end of the day, the score matters most and at the end of the season you either have the trophy or you go to the draft first thing.

A good win, for the players moreso than just what the score says.

The biggest surprise to me is how well the secondary is playing.
Absolutely - was thinking about this yesterday. Seems like credit is due to Joe Baker ( promoted to Secondary coach this year ) & Greg Jackson ( new hire this year - Safeties coach )

The Bengals aren't a great team either. We were very lucky with our schedule this year and the Packers are quite ordinary this year.

Romo should return for the Eagles game.
My exact sentiments. The Bengals and Packers can both be had and division games are always close so we could take the Eagles too. The Cowboys aren't a complete team by any stretch, but neither is anybody else in the NFL. If the defense keeps playing at least average, we might make some noise these next few weeks.

I hope Bailey isn't losing his confidence with two back to back misses within 50.

Kickers often get into slumps. But Bailey did connect on one field goal so I think he'll be okay.

Brice Butler needs to take a long walk at the end of the game. Not a smart guy, and very inconsistent. Needs to take the chip off of his shoulder and just play. Look at Beasley and how he did it. That's your template. Beasley is a straight up professional, which is more than I can say for Williams and Butler. I'll say it again, I'll take Josh Gordon in a heartbeat down the road.

I admit I called Brice Butler an idiot for his taunting penalty. But after I thought about it, he's young and just now getting on the field. He'll learned. And if I'm not mistaken both Dez and Witten took him to the verbal woodshed. His spirit looked crushed - and that's a good thing. It means he's hurt and still can be reached. He'll emerge from this the better.

As for Josh Gordon, you mean the Cleveland receiver who has been suspended twice for drugs? You would take him? Have we not learned anything? We need to stay as far away as possible from guys who can't seem to stay clean.

The defense still needs to step it up, but they're not getting blown out out there. I hope that Lawrence can really make an impact on his return.

If only Gregory could have stayed off the pot and Ro could have stayed engaged. What could have been. Sigh. :(

True but they will provide a similar test the way the NYG did. A solid defensive front 7, an above average QB with weapons.

People are really struggling with this idea. He is all for rotating RBs, even willing to give Morris more carries, but thinks it shouldn't be done in a way that has Elliott on the bench for entire drives. He doesn't like the substitution pattern and thinks it should be changed.

Thats Garrett for you. He just doesn't have a feel for the momentum of the game. He did this with Murray quite a bit which really didn't help lower his carries either. Its nothing more than the robotic nature of the coach.
