Well, that's just silly.

I can't see Jones making a draft day trade like this one and then, standing pat and using the pick on a FS next year.

Yeah, that's seems prety stupid doesn't it. I do like the Sweed pick at #21 though. Although I would rather see us at #32.

Here's another 08 mock. Good 08 prospects page as well.

If Dewayne Jarrett isnt a 1st round receiver than Limas Sweed sure as heck isnt.

Desean Jackson would be fun to watch in a Cowboys uni.

I like this one much better. I was wondering where Manningham was, he sure looks like a baller from what I've seen so far. If cleveland does their part, it would sure be nice to get Mcfadden with Clevelands pick, and then Manningham with our pick even if we have to throw in a second.

Cason, the CB from Arizona, is defintely someone to watch. We could also go for Sam Baker who could step in for Flozell Adams year one.

Of course, if Julius Jones leaves via free agency, RB could be the pick.

As far as mocks right now, how many of us or any of these draft websites had JaMarcus Russell, Jamaal Anderson, Adam Carriker, Amobi Okaye, Joe Staley, and Anthony Spencer in their first-round projections? ..and Russell was the top overall pick.

If Cleveland starts stinking it up and that pick looks to be very high it should turn those of us not already college football junkies, into very interested observers.

Go Cowboys and Go whoever the Browns are playing!

Cason is a top notch CB. I believe even better than UA Alum Chris McAllister. Teams do not throw at him and when they do, he makes them pay.

I really enjoyed GBN's idea. Roy was a ground breaker when teams did not draft SSs that high and the Skinz have gone SS and FS in the last few drafts. It is not silly to me and a FS and a WR were both possibilities we did not seriously address in this years draft. We didn't get Quinn because Romo had JJs confidence. Maybe one of our two RBs will stand out and merit that kind of confidence. Maybe we can find a cover corner to pair with T-New.
