Maybe it's just me but I think the hand wringing over who is the GM is a bit over rated. I don't think GMs are links ot success with very few exceptions. I doubt that Bill Polian or Scott Pioli are going anywhere and only Piloi of the current "GMs" has had the same success as Jerry, and even he is currently staring at Spygate, etc. Not even highly respected football guys like Carl Peterson or recently replaced Rich McKay are guarantees of success.
It is a misplaced focus. No matter who the GM is, it still comes down to coaching and execution on the field.
