all of the whiffs on the defensive line of late (more like a puff of smoke and hearing 'ear ) are causing zero pass rush (still shaking violently from the GB debacle where he had 30 minutes to get off that pass)...if they can generate some fear in the QB's, then our spiffy new secondary may have some opportunities to take the ball away

btw, I think it is ironic with all of the pot issues for this team that they have a guy like Taco on their DLine....munchies anyone?

Apple with cinnamon.

Apple, cinnamon, brown sugar.

Can be extra fat like me and wait for some homemade vanilla + cool whip to melt a little while the turnover is hot for some dippin' action. (As opposed to just dumping it on top of cobbler)

I'm hungry now

when you target players that did not get turnovers in college then why should you expect them to get turnovers in the Pros? THAT was the problem for years.

I think you might find that Mo Claiborne had 11 INTs his last two years at LSU.

Now I know he was injured a lot but 4 picks in 5 years is a sign that it's not all the players fault because let's face it nobody else was getting any INTs either.

Judging on the recent and not so recent history of the Boys defense, Dallas is where playmakers come to loose that ability.

Stop allowing the QB to get rid of the ball quick and then make him feel pressure.

No, take a look at the college stats of the DBs we have had over the last ten years and the overwhelming majority were turnover free in college. Even Mo's numbers were not all that great and you can put an asterisk beside some of them.

11 INT's in two years at the level of competition LSU plays at, are very good numbers and that's why he was the 6th overall draft pick.

Take Brandon Carr as an example, he had 4 INTs his final year at KC, then 3 INTs a year in his first two years in Dallas.

So 10 INTs in three years not great numbers but at least consistent.

Then the next three years 1 INT.

All his fault?

I think not.

Any competent QB, if given ample time to look over the field, will do well against any defense....will always come back to putting pressure on the QB...of course, it goes hand-in-hand with good DB play.....if they stay on top of the receivers for that extra second or two, it gives the pass rush more time to get to the QB; if the pressure gets to the QB, the DB's don't have to cover as long
