Getting talent. I think much of it starts up front and being able to create consistent pressure where you not only get sacks but force a QB to get rid of the ball before he wants leading to bad passes that can get picked off. Rod does a great job of having players strip at the ball to create fumbles but ints will come when you can force QB into bad throws.
Agreed. And having DBs with ball skills to secure the pick. We've also dropped a lot of int opportunities when we've had the chance - I think this new crop of young talent will help to change the story.

It does seem that the players we took, especially Lewis, have the nose for the ball and are aggressive.
I hope they let him continue to play his style.

He plays the trail technique which is dangerous if nobody else is covering over the top (deep).

Also playing way off would not give him as many opportunities as letting him line up near the line.

I have confidence in the DB coaches Baker and Jackson which I can't say about Henderson or Campo from the past.

You could really tell a difference with Jackson last year. May have been my imagination but still.

It wasn't (your imagination). He improved the DB play exceptionally. Mo was fantastic until he got injured, and Brown developed better than any of us expected. Carr even had one of his better season with us (sans the ints).

Agree. I don't know how much was Jackson and how much was Baker replacing Henderson, but there was an obvious difference.

Sometimes it does take situational, good cop/bad cop.

It's scheme and nothing but the scheme. Our DBs were completely and utterly wrong for the defense that Kiffin brought and now Marinelli runs. You can't create turnovers when you're trying to run a derivative of the Tampa 2 and your DBs are incapable of playing any type of zone. And many would argue that the tampa2 is a dead defense passed by modern offenses never to be effective again. Several of our draft picks are supposed to be potentially good in zone so I'm hoping we can bring some life back to this old scheme and prove that the Tampa 2 style system is alive and wel.

The Cowboys need a bloodthirsty, QB hating, mentally disturbed passrusher that crashes through Offensive Lineman and totally smashes the QB, and hopefully kills him dead, while ripping the football from his dying hands and runs it into the endzone! Simple...:)

With proper husbandry concerning your desired wish,I see a little of that in #99's college film .
C Tapper comes across to me as the type who enjoys handing out a heaping helping of Q.B. crush,,, maybe under the flood lights that will Blossom and Bloom.

Taking are typically a direct correlation with pressure on the QB. That is the quickest way to solve that one. Having big leads is another good one, which we had a lot last year. That fact tells you just how bad the defense was when it comes to play makers and pass rush.

I don't recall playing with very
Many big leads during the games last season ( at least not nearly big enough for my liking)
A quick review of last seasons wins indicate they were kinda close games, again, just looking at the final score.

Yeah Apple turnovers from Arbys
Man, I wish there was an Arby's near me! The closest one is in Panarama City (about 7 miles, and with traffic, even tho it's mostly streets, it's a 20 minute drive!! Ugh :(

If you like Arby's, check out NihilistArbys twitter. It's amazing. If you're easily offended (it's quite vulgar), steer clear :)
