Remember years ago when the vikes had I think there last names were Williams clogging the middle and they both were 320. Heck even the gnats had snacks and cannot remember the guy name during Zeke and Dak rookie year and we had trouble running on them.

i'm not sure what everyone was realistically expecting..

I mean 5 sacks for a DT is not bad at all. My concern is we signed Poe and McCoy who were the starting DTs on one of the worst run defenses in the league last year.

Revamping the d-line was the biggest improvement for our team this season and McCoy was the second best add besides Griffen.

And McCoy is a natural born leader and would’ve helped so much from that standpoint.

And he’s been so excited about being a Cowboy, his life long dream come true.

I heard McCoy is in a coma and the Eskimos pushed him off on an ice flow, so he would float away from the team.

I really think people need to wait and see the severity, this could very easily be a situation where he only misses part of the season.

Big loss IMO. Expect to see Crawford moves back to DT in base 4-3.

PS that is why you keep Crawford around.

which "starting" would mean Crawford getting uprooted again vs the run, which was the reason why he was replaced
in the starting lineup with a much bigger Maliek Collins. He's a part time rotational nickel interior rusher. (and a vastly overpaid one too)
We need a full time starter type now in the middle.

i'm probably in the minority in that I wasn't expecting much from McCoy this season ( I tend to believe he is on the downside of his career), so, personally, i'm not as worried

but it DOES worry me that Hill is replacing him. He needs to make astronomical strides to be productive and I don't see that happening..

Hill has a real coach and scheme this year. I will wait to see the results. As I would any 2nd year player.

Crawford is mostly hype, with little substance.

The team has many 3T candidates and the drop off from peak 32 year old McCoy to peak Crawford/Gallimore/etc may not be the biggest deal. Poe on the other hand is the best 1T we’ve had in forever.
