According to most articles, they believe he will be released fairly soon rather then later.
They believe there is no trade intreat at all.
    Period.

Please, for the love of God, do not let Philly or the Rams pick him up.

We have some good depth at DT with Hill, Collins, Woods, Crawford, and Covington.

But McCoy, even at his current age, is better than every one of them and would immensely help this defense.

If you can get him cheap after he’s released, we should scoop him up in a heartbeat.

Of course we should. That is how you get better. Adding a stud to an already good defense is just what we need.
Look at how we always address o-line.

I agree but IMO he won’t be cheap. Someone will pay him good to very good, I think.

    I’ve been wrong before though.

They do put a lot of resources into the OL, I agree.

However, not once have they picked up an expensive, aging guy to plug in to the OL. They spent draft resources on the OL, just like they did this year with McGovern...

...and just like they did on the DL with Hill.

I don’t think there’s any way Dallas will spend the money to bring in McCoy, even without having to spend any draft capital.

Pressure up the middle is the hardest to handle
If we get McCoy and Hill is as advertised (I know I know) then we can have a really nice DT rotation with Woods

Of course it ain't happening because

    Wait for it

We don't need pro-bowl talent, we have Trysten Hill. Trysten Hill is everything Rod Marinelli wants in a DT and we needed to draft him 58th overall to replace Maliek Collins in a year, who was drafted 67th overall because he's everything Rod Marinelli wants in a DT.
