Anybody else think the guy had no idea that the Wide Reciever had caught the ball and scored until several seconds after it happened.

He just looked lost that entire play.

I was also disappointed with Terence Newman for letting the Wide Receiver break cleanly off the line of scrimmage and go full speed as he is being passed to the Safety.

I just posted that in another thread, yeah thats what I thought too. I dont think he had any clue where the ball was before or after the catch. Pretty sad.

I thought he was looking for someone to come make the tackle or like he was escorting Rice to the end zone. Pretty damned bad, but not the game killer.

I don't think Rice knew he had the ball at first. I have no idea why Newman didn't try to jam him.

The only thing more disgusting than that play was the video image directly after it when Wade and Campo were jawing at each other with their arms out.

Wade was all over Campo for that one. I think Campo sees the door for the last time in Dallas.

Sensy talked a big game and than gave up on that play(sound familiar)

tnew has become the bobby carpenter of corners. he doesn't go all out when he gets nicked up cause he makes business decisions like Deion used to do. Deion actually made plays though. tnew and Barber can get there overpaid ***** out of Dallas.

Wade said in the presser that he didn't see the ball and didn't know he had caught it. Wade was totally disgusted.

He shouldn't have been let back in.

Wade said in his post game presser that he didn't it had been thrown or caught. He thought the play was over before that.

Newman has looked extremely reluctant to explode into WRs who have just caught a pass on the LOS. He stands out there forever before he even thinks of engaging.

He found the doggie door.

Maybe the mad poodle will be shown the door and after he goes out they bolt it closed.

how can anyone blame Campo?

when you pass a receiver into a zone you at least try to slow him down somewhat

Newman is a vet. should know better

still sensy was in great position

hell he brought up how he used to man up on receivers. total fail on his part

Obvious to me Sensabaugh had NO clue Favre tried to throw it when covered like a blanket: let alone complete it. That's Favre's history and we looked like deer in headlights all day. I said on this forum...as did others.....all week he'll throw it up for grabs. We didn't make one good play on the ball all day....not ONE

Yeah, I was wondering what this conversation was about.

Wade Phillips was pretty ticked off.

Gerald Sensabaugh has as good of coverage a Safety can have on a Wide Receiver, but his Cornerback never made any attempt to slow the Wide Receiver down at the line of scrimmage and the guy had to deal with a Wide Receiver running at him full speed.
