Dallas cut Elliott… he was never signing back here.

Cook is just a slower Pollard and cost waaaaayyyy too much. He was never signing here either.

Fournette… the only thing above average about him has been his salary.

They’ll be fine with Pollard, Davis or Dowdell, and Deuce.

I think it’s pretty safe to say Leonard Fournette would be better than Malik Davis and Rico Dowdle. He put up almost 700 yards in 9 games last season. He’s definitely on the decline, but I like him better than what we have.
So even a team in complete melt down shedded Fournette. Maybe brady wanted the cancer gone? I dunno...

Maybe it isn;t about a few yards. Maybe it's about something other than that. When a ****** team ditches you...might be a sign. Here's your sign.

I like our guys....let's roll.

Maybe he is better, and I’m not even sure about that… but unless he comes cheap, he isn’t enough better than Davis/Dowdell to spend that money IMO.
I certainly wouldn’t spend much money on him. The main problem with Fournette is he can’t stay healthy.

He’s had a few behavioral problems but the main issue is he can’t stay healthy. We’ll see if you still like our guys after the season starts

Very important to have quality RBs.

The Jets know this. And I am not surprised that Hackett, who is trying to install LaFleur's offense in New York, would want more than one quality RB.

I'm very glad the Pack has Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon.

He averaged under 4.0 a carry. I wasn’t impressed.
He averaged less than Zeke, something like 3.7 yards per carry. It's difficult for me to see the upside.

A Packers fan? Interesting.
I feel Dallas RBs aren't proven to certain ppl, so they feel like they may not be quality. There was a time when Aaron Jones was unproven and unknown.

He was battling a foot injury. The only real upside is he’s a proven player with experience. Pollard is our only proven back right now and he’s coming off a serious injury.

I see this as fear of the unknown, but these RBs showed up vs the Jags.

Davis and Dowdle did nothing versus the Jags. They had 28 yards between them and Dowdle had a fumble that cost us points.

I think Dowdle and Vaughn can run well enough, the pass protection is scary though,,, if Fournette can pass block better that might give him an edge.

Dowdle look good to me outside of the fumble, he was fast, tough, pass blocked and caught the ball. I don't know what's going on with Davis, but Fournette isn't the answer to any of this in my opinion. Overall, we'll see I'm just not concerned at all.

Just picture this... Two back set, with Pollard and Deuce flaring out on opposite sides of the backfield, with open one-on-one chances to juke the LB's. Brandin Cooks and CeeDee run drag routes or slant routes to stress the OLB's into making a choice, cover the RB or the WR. Deuce and Pollard are both capable of making an LB look silly in space. Cooks and CeeDee can both get free.

It's gonna be nice, and a coverage nightmare.

Zeke to New England
Cook to the New York Jets
We need to sign Fournette before the only thing left are scraps.
Agreed. Oline could easily get one of these RBs hurt. We need as much quality depth on OL and RB as possible. I’d be on the phones trying to get this run game more well rounded.
