Get ready, about to return to the Dave Campo years!

2025 will be a losing season regardless who the HC is. Less talent + hard schedule = fewer wins.

We all wanted MM to go, but Jerry looking to hire another "puppet" is going to take this franchise back to the Dave Campo 5-11 days. They are going to say, wasn't it great to be 12-5 every year and be in the playoffs now only rooting for a better draft position. This franchise is headed for rock bottom!
I don’t know. You give Kellen a running back to go along with a healthy Dak. The Cowboys could be a wild card team. If we had beaten Atlanta and Cincinnati we probably make the playoffs this year. 7-10 was the worst scenario last season. Kellen is a good coordinator and has a great relationship with Dak and CeeDee. Give him a real runner the triplets return.

But we’re not talking about just an OC. We’re talking about the HC. Leader of the locker room. Alpha

There was a reason why they let him go, his play calling was head scratching times and never stuck with the run, took him to get Barkley to commit to it and still decides to pass when the game was on the line yesterday

The Campo years are whats necessary if this team has any chance of returning to be a legit contender.

The older clown needs to quit, then the other needs to hire someone who can run the whole show…and stay out of the way.

They aren’t getting there without full humiliation first. If there’s any good news at all, they are well on their way.

I want to see 86 year old Jerry up in front of a mic trying to defend the job he is doing after another pair of 7 win seasons. #netflix

Pretty bad to see his division in the nfc championship

They didn’t let him go. He didn’t get along with McCarthy and got a job before he walked out the front door. Bobby Belt explained the situation. Then the Eagles picked him up and he will probably be in the Super Bowl. It’s funny how two coordinators that we had two years ago who the fan base blames for our playoff failures will be playing for the right to go to the Super Bowl. I wonder why they couldn’t get the Cowboys there.

Three big issues. Meddling Jerry, GM Jerry and Cheap Jerry. Any one of the three can cause issues in winning. Having all three is the trifecta of being awful. Jerry is the constant and he is not going anywhere. We won’t be getting a top flight coach unless Jerry swallow his pride and opens his checkbook and he won't do either. Bad time once again to be a Cowboys fan.

I mean, we have a few good players and a few decent younger player prospects.
The Cowboys were a couple of fluke plays from being 9-8 this year. They have more than a few good players and a few decent players. Just getting some of the injured guys back you could see how much better the defense was playing down the stretch. Adding a dynamic RB and better run schemes/coaching/play calling will make a huge difference on offense.

The talent of the roster is so much better now than it was in those days it's very hard to see a return to the Campo years.

And no, it wasn't great to be 12-5 every year only to get humiliated at home in the playoffs every year.
It's the same talent that isn't getting is further in the post season, I'm so confused that you don't realize this

i don't think it'll be that.
our qb is better.
and i think the over-all roster is better than those years.
but with an inept gm...anything bad is possible.
it'll probably be more like the garrett era...depending who they hire as hc.

We all know the answer to that and it's our GM.

It’s still the Jerry Jones years. That’s all that matters. We never left them.
Good point. There are no campo years, garrett years, or mccarthy years, only jerry jones years.

Could of tried to keep him, same goes with the Chargers

Campo? No
Garrett, Yes.
Just good enough not to make any meaningful changes.
Status quo.

Minus whale. Saluting our way back to the future.
