After signing Kirk Cousins to a 4 year 180 million dollar deal just NINE MONTHS ago, Atlanta is changing direction and letting him walk…with a very reasonable cap hit. Anyone think Booger and Chuckles would ever admit fault and do this??? Knowing them, they’ve backed themselves into a cap hit corner from hell….just amazes me how smart some teams are to bite the bullet and correct things….meanwhile, we have the Clapping Carrot at HC for almost a decade. Next season will prove that Dim’s extension was the worst in Pro Sports history.
Jerry understands this better than most. He is not investing in championships. Jerry is investing in the idea of chasing a championship. If a SB is won then that is preferred and great but it is not the main goal. JJ needs the fans, media focused on Dallas so the money keeps rolling.

As long as, the revenue is streaming he will pay any amount of money to keep the scheme alive.

So, what the heck happened to Cousins? He was having a solid season, woth 17 TDs to 7 ints and coming off two very good games. The Falcons wede 6-3 and in firm control of the division.

Then all of a sudden he goes on a streak with 1 TD and 9 Ints. The Falcons lose 4 of 5, and they're battling to make the playoffs.

Did he get hurt again? Get a concussion and not say anything? What little I have watched of him now compared to earlier this year something looks off.
Opposing coordinators figured out scheme on both sides

Cousins doesn’t help by doing his best Dak impersonations

Same thing that is happening to Dak. Got OLD, injured and never good enough even in his prime. They are nearly the same guy in every way. Dak's on his way out just like Cousins. Will end up being the dumbest contract the Cowboys ever gave out.

We don't need to wait next season.

I mean it’s a new team and a new system seems like the guy should’ve had a longer leash. I don’t entirely get the Falcons….they spent a top 10 pick on a tight end…then did it on a running back….then signed Cousins to a big deal when the draft was coming. They draft one of the older quarterbacks….just odd managing of the cap.
At first I was perplexed with the QB thing, but after they explained the logic it made sense. As things developed, they aren’t now screwed.

I was fully against a TE at pick four but people around here were saying he was a freak, impossible to cover, matchup nightmare, etc… Maybe in college. He seems to be a bit above average in the NFL. If you have the fourth pick and it’s your own, you have much larger problems than TE.

A special RB top ten is fine when it’s a final piece type.

I’m concerned Jerry will draft Jeanty as he thinks this team is better than it is per usual. I don’t see how he resists.

It's disgraceful that we have these two guys running our team into the ground. Every other team sees problems as they happen and whether they can fix them or not, THEY TRY !! The 2 Bozos in Dallas can't be bothered to work hard at admitting and correcting THEIR mistakes. I don't like throwing this word around but I'm truly beginning to hate the Jones'. Hate them for buying and owning the team that I fell in love with in 1970

The thing about it though is the special RBs and TEs aren’t top 10 picks. It’s the two positions that you can find later. I just don’t get it.

With Penix drafting him wasn’t the problem. I don’t get *** pay Cousins…seems like a qb was gonna be there…..

Falcons realize Cousins is cooked and they have Penix. Cowboys don’t think Dak is cooked and they have Rush. Very simple.
Falcons don't want to accept 9-8 as their best case scenario, and would rather keep swinging for the fences, even if it fails.

Dallas (jerry) is fine with 9-8 as long as the money keeps rolling in and the spotlight is always on him.

Very simple

There is nothing to admit if you think your decissions have been right. And thats what they think of their decissions.

So first you have to convince them else. But i doubt you are able to. Youd get fired before you are able to give them good reasons for your view.

And if you are not employed by them they have no reason to listen to you. Well, i iwouldnt. My time would be too precious.
