What evidence is there past this year that suggest Dak won't last a season ?
Any other major past injuries to Dak were contact injuries

I'm not certain Dak cannot be " fixed" . i still it depends greatly upon the coach and scheme ... but there lies the problem.

If McCarthy is returning and he remains responsible for Dak and the offense - then we will continue to see what we are seeing with the offense.

if Jerry insists upon returning to the Kellen Moore like plan of a separate new OC to work with McCarthy, the offense being in the hands of that new OC, rather than McCarthy current stinky dink dunk offense... then Dak will continue to be screwed. Especially if we do not add a spectacular RB and much upgrade improved run scheme .
Yeah, I was wrong. Dak will last at least four or five more seasons, he is in the "best shape of his life...for the brotherhood". Did you order a Dak jersey for X-mas?

i prefer to send and express a viewpoint based off logic, not Dak hatred.

You don't think they have been evaluating him at practice?

You don't think they can tell if he has a good understanding of the offense.
I think it’s tough to be certain without game time and they just don’t gain much by cutting Kirk. Still, it’s probably good to be decisive so there is no doubt in anyone’s mind. Penix was pretty good today so I think they will be happy with their choice. Doesn’t change the fact it was idiotic to sign Kirk to that contract though.

Maybe they originally thought they needed Kirk for 2 years before Penix would be ready.

Maybe Kirk regressed more than they anticipate and Penix grew faster than they thought he would.

After signing Kirk Cousins to a 4 year 180 million dollar deal just NINE MONTHS ago, Atlanta is changing direction and letting him walk…with a very reasonable cap hit. Anyone think Booger and Chuckles would ever admit fault and do this??? Knowing them, they’ve backed themselves into a cap hit corner from hell….just amazes me how smart some teams are to bite the bullet and correct things….meanwhile, we have the Clapping Carrot at HC for almost a decade. Next season will prove that Dim’s extension was the worst in Pro Sports history.
Dak's contract hasn't even started yet. We're screwed.

Why would we worry about Kirk Cousins' contract in comparison to what needs to be done at Dallas......if you dig deep enough, you'll find our QB or WR contract does not hinder getting talent. Kirk had talent around him, and young talent it's been at Atlanta & Minnesota. Just this year......if you didn't see the cupboard bare for our offense alone....I don't know what to tell you. And QB/WR big contracts were done AFTER the FA market came & went, or the claim "All In".
The problem isn't that Dak's contract hinders finding other talent. The problem is Dak sucks.

The problem is Jerry sucks.

Micah trying to force Jerry to sign him early, so he has no excuses for not participating in FA.
