Giant fans sure are confident about beating us

Giant fans on one of the Giant fans forums I routinely check out (never post on it) sure are confident/cocky they will beat us. They cite our new head coach/new offensive coordinator/Wilson's suspension/no pass rusher except Ware/not enough LBs cause Ellis injuried/Newman injury & most of all their confidence in their new DC's sack attack. They believe they have the defense which can blitz Romo to death & destroy us with the running game & Eli's great passing.

It sure would be nice if we could send them home with a very thorough and satisfactory spanking. Just hope Cowboys prepared for the new defensive strategy (remember their new DC formerly worked for the Eagles) which will be very similar to what Eagles traditionally employ against us.

Well this is one game I can't predict based on not knowing if we saw the true Phillips 34, or if our protection can be good enough.

I do know as always that we have a TON of talent, but time will tell in less than a week from now.

We have way too many weapons on offense. Yeah our defense is a little banged up right now, but their still good enough to hold the fort down while our offense scores a lot of points. if they bring the house on us we will do screen passes all day long on them to both the TE's and our Rb's, that is just how Jason Garrett loves to beat a blitz. I know for a fact that their defense is not good enough to stop all of our weapons.

Why in the world do people even care what other message boards say about us, or anything else?

Seriously-Giants fans may be cocky et al, but at least, like the Skins fans, they're pretty cool when we have discussions with them on OUR boards.

Now the Eagles fans are different-they DEMAND respect when they go to Visitor's MBs. But, en yet, they act VERY disrespectfully when they go to Visitor's MBs.

I really doubt they are going to beat us, they have the weakest secondary in the division and there LB arent all that good and even an injured Newman is better than any CB they have, so I see us winning by 10 or more points.

I was listening to the post-game show on the ticket after the Minnesota game, and even they thought we were going to beat the Giants. It seems like even the dallas media (who for some reasons always look at the negative things about the Dallas Cowboys instead of the bright spots) seem to be favoring Dallas against the Giants.

We will need good Free Safety play. The only chance the Giants/Eli have is to chuck it up there and have our Corners misplay the ball. Its worked in the past.

I would like to see Watkins out there with his height and speed.

Eli's great passing? Now that is a good one. Wade will find a way to get some pressure on Eli and that will be the difference in the game as Eli consistently folds under pressure.

Their D did mess with Romo pretty good last year. I can still see Strahan doing that jump shot motion vs. us. We will have to solve their pressure.

I am not sold on Jacobs. Let him get his first start. Eli is Eli. He will probably strike early and fade.

As much as I hate them, I do believe it will be a tough game.

cowboys gotta worry about protecting romo and the deep pass.

and with adams and colombo not looking spectacular it's going to be up to big leonard davis to lead the running attack.

the best part is no tiki. ware can rush rush rush. this should help, because i think eli is going to be able to beat the secondary badly. cowboys have no answer for shockey, nor can anthony henry cover amani toomer. if newman's not out there, it could get bad. i really wish aaron glenn was playing because he shut down plaxico.

this game could be really good if the pass rush is working, but it's going to be a pucker upper, because i think at the end of the game eli is going to lead a charge when they call off the dogs.
