ive already showed you the total stats, and my point of view from them. If you want to throw those out the window, and deem then irrelevnat, then so be it.

And you ignore the stats he gave you

He also ignores their Superbowl stats, refuses to acknowledge the legitimate point that Monk cannot be defined by particular plays in huge games as Irvin can, and refuses to acknowledge the answer to the question we all know the answer to, given a choice in their primes, would you want Irvin or Monk? That simply settles it there.....everyone outside of Redskinland would say Irvin and deep down they know they would too.

Monk a very good consistent WR for many years, Irvin was a dominant WR for several years.....I think Monk gets in one day, but there is no question Irvin was the more dominant player.

if telling you my point of view towards them and how I felt about them is ignoring, then yes, i guess im guilty

so irvin played on some of the greatest teams of all times and he had more oppurtunities? If it wasnt for smith and aikman he wouldnt have near the numbers.
Having the best D in the league at the didn't hurt either.

All you did was post career stats and say irvin was only good because of Aikman and smith

Make some kind of legit argument of why Monk is better

Use the averages that your ststa broke down into and show me how the guy who was worse in every category is the better WR

Must have missed your "point of view..." What did you think about Irvin's dominance in stat averages?

Banned...about time somebody put a burning slug in that chiwawa.

It's the hall of fame not the hall of stats.

On the 'who is more famous' meter it's.......

Irvin > Monk

or maybe they are just more favorable to your triplets compared to the Commanders...

Yeah, that's right, the Hall of Fame voters have ALWAYS shown a strong pro-Cowboys bias...

Do you ever THINK before saying stuff like that??

No because the only team that anyone has a bias against is the Skins

Are Skins fans prepared to induct Henry Ellard? At first glance, he looks pretty similar (if not superior) to Monk:

Wiki:

He was drafted in the second round with the 32nd overall pick in the NFL Draft by the L.A. Rams. In the NFL, Ellard was known for using his height and jumping ability to get to high passes. In his eleven seasons with Los Angeles he went to three Pro Bowls. At the time of his retirement, Ellard held the Rams' team records for career receptions (593), receiving yards (9,761), 100-yard games (26), punt return average (11.3), and total offense (11,663).

Upon joining the Commanders, Ellard set off on a blistering pace for the 1994 season, ending it with 1,397 yards, 102 behind league-leader Jerry Rice. He had three consecutive 1,000 yard seasons, giving him seven for his career (his 799 yards in the strike-shortened 1987 season was on pace for an eighth). His final 1,000 yard season came in 1996 and required a 155-yard performance against the Dallas Cowboys second-ranked defense to push him to 1,014 yards for the season.

As his production declined, Ellard became expendable, and found himself as a member of the Patriots in 1998. He retired after the season with 814 receptions for 13,777 yards, which placed him third on the all-time list, and 65 touchdowns. He also gained 1,527 yards returning punts, 364 yard returning kickoffs, 50 rushing yards, and 4 punts returned for a touchdown. Overall, he gained 15,718 total yards.

This is complete BS. A guy who finished #1 of all time when he retired cant make it into the hall of fame?

yet, a damn coke addict can make it in? just shows the state the NFL today:bang2:

Monk finished first in catches because he played for so long. If you look at his stats on a yearly basis, especially yards and TD's which are far more impactful than catches, Monk didn't fare too hot against his peers. Irvin on the other hand on a yearly basis fared pretty well in yards, TD's, and catches and played in an era with the pass happy West Coast and Run N Shoot offenses.

Typical classless fan from a team so classless they can't see their franchise's name is one of the most overtly racist things left in our society. Bet you still have sambo's in MARYland AS WELL, HUH? You will have NO HOF players and you'll LIKE IT!!!!!!!!!! :lmao2:

I bet Andre Reed's Stats are close to Monk's, I don't see an Out cry over him.

Reed has more yards, more touchdowns and more receptions.

Not to mention that Reed went to more pro bowls and has better playoff stats.

Reed> Monk.

IMO Reed was a better player then Monk.

And I don't think Reed is a HOFer either.
